hi
i didn't want to start a new thread but my car battery has packed up today and i have to get a new one asap tomorrow morning
the car is an alto and the battery has been the one which comes with car and it lasted me around 4.5 years
i have a ok ok ice setup

can you guys suggest the best battery for an alto no going beyond 5k max

Go for an amaron. It will last for more than 5 years. I am telling it from my experience of having an amaron in my diesel car for 5 years.

Amaron comes with 3 years warranty but bosch i think has only 2 years warranty.

How much are you paying for the amaron?

Im getting it for 3k with 36 months warranty(18+18) for my lancer.

Is that a good price for an amaron 35A? Thanks

i haven't when as yet but will be going around 10am when the shop opens

at 3k its a good buy and you will get something in exchange of you old battery also

and i wanted to ask if i can upgrade from a 35a to a 38a or 40a battery

just got my new battery
its a amaron and it costed me 2800 bucks after giving my old battery

i love it
the sound of my ice has improved and now its more clear and loud

and i got 36month warranty

the 18 month warranty one was for 2350

My query could be off-topic and my apologies.

What if I install a 80AH battery in my car while originally it came with a 70 or 75AH unit? Will this put extra load on the alternator for charging? Will the increased ampereage likely to cause any problem to equipments/accessories installed and be more of a reason to catch fire if at all?
