re: The fuel additives thread

What would be recommended for the 1.2 TSI engine?
I am using speed 97 right now.
STP petrol was available at BP, system G wasn't.

Look for "Servo Adon P" at IOC bunks only. Approximately Rs. 280 for 200 ml.

I got 100ml for 175.
Did an Italian tuneup as well.
Is it suitable for direct injection or should I go for STP?

Good price! I'm not sure about compatibility with direct injection (petrol, I presume). Here's the website for the product: http://www.neopetconindia.com/pro_ServoAddonP.html

Guys

Anyone knows where I can buy system G and D? Ford dealerships and BP outlets are not having it in stock for the past 2 years or so.

Try at an Tata A.S.S you can straight away walk to spare parts counter and ask.
Also they have Bardhal Injector cleaner which is really good it is not for regular use but for once in a while use to correct misfiring due to clogged injector.

My Experiments with ADON-D : Update 1 April 4, 2015

Key Result: Mileage improvement continues at 11% over baseline covering over 9000 Kms

Since my last post , I continue to use ADON-D as an additive on a regular basis at 0.5 ml per litre of diesel.

Since then, I have made highway trips to Goa, Bangalore, Puducherry, Nagarhole etc.

Mileage data updated till April 4, 2015 is as follows:

I will be surprised if the IOC ADON is very different. So might as well use that.

Added the Abro Diesel Injector cleaner for my Swift VDI, odo @ 83K, last addition was 40k back. Totally took me by surprise, the way the engine pull had changed. Refinement has went up a notch & the turbo push in the 4th gear is awesome. Good product to use.

re: The fuel additives thread

Gentlemen, please be cautious using these additives in your cars.

See this.

On the safer side, stick to a reputed fuel bunk for clean fuel and get your car serviced regularly. Using good quality oil can also help in longevity of the engine and related parts.

One should not lose one's common sense. I add once every four or five tankfuls, quality of bunks is a given.
