Try and find Elf DALF, use it sparingly at 40ml for every 40L, this is one of the few products that remove crud as well as carbon deposits from head. Use it sparingly on need to use basis and no more than 4000km gaps. If you can't find that, STP diesel injector cleaner is another product that truly cleans the cowebs off dirtly system.

What is the rationale behind not using System G for 1 - 5 K Km??

I suggest you start using it immediately, to keep your engine clean right from the begining!

Incase you do not get System G at fuel stations..check with the Ford dealers in Bangalore..they should have it.

Fuel for Swift

Guys
I have bought a used 4 month old swiftVDI(6400 kms). Can I fill xtrapremium or Hi-Speeed diesel or you guys recommend normal diesel? The experience filling premium diesel in my lancer is that the car is more smoother to drive. Here in cochin no pumps stock STP or other additives.Only sonax diesel treatment available in emperor.Should I use it in my swift? Please I need your suggestions..
Cheers

I usually get System-G in the petrol pump (HP, I think) that's a stone's throw from Leela Palace on airport road. If they are stocking system-G, then they must be keeping the D variant also.
