That will add to the SUV GC it already has.....

IMO it doesn't need an upsize, for once Maruti has given decent size tyres infact overtyred them.....

I was thinking of changing tyres to such a dimension that it will lower the car. The VXi has a GC of 180mm.

If you look closely at the wheel arches they are so huge that even the 16'' feel like 14'' .. Surely the car needs an upsize .. Also drop the GC to 160mm ..

No headers are not integrated. Look at your own picture and you can see they are bolted onto the head.

225 section tyres and the car might handle beautifully but it won't be going anywhere in a hurry.

I was talking about the interior quality. In every other way, except possibly FE, the Honda is inferior to the Suzuki.

I totally agree with that, after having a look today, i would vouch for the SX4 anyday over the Honda.

Wasn't clear in your post. Yeah the dashboard and the general plastics inside are good but what spoils the party are the door pads... they are awfully flimsy.
All in all a very nice car and has got good performance too considering the test drive reports written by fellow team bhpian's... linear acceleration from 1100 rpm in 5th gear, AC on and 5 person on board is some going.
How I wish Honda bites the dust this time.

Don't underestimate Honda, they are the 2nd largest Car maker in Japan after Toyota and have some excellent Cars in their stable.

Am just awaiting their response to SX4!

Can you name one in the same price/size segment as the NHC and the SX4?

Are u suggesting that NHC is a not so excellent C segment car from the Honda stable? Well.. I have to agree with that. Compared to Civic, Accord and CRV in the other segments, NHC is a disappointment.

Buddy, I meant their range of Cars in International market!
In India, they just have a handful - NHC, Accord, Civic & CRV.

I went to drive the SX4 at Vitesse today, but, there were just too many people waiting for a chance and I didn't have much time on my hands. However, I managed to get a close look at the car. First impressions are good. To start with, the car looks nice and modern. The quality of materials used in the interiors is way better than that used in the Baleno. The ZXi is well equipped - climate control, ABS, airbags, huge alloys - it's all there! Can't say anything about the ride, but, the seats are comfortable. I talked to a couple of guys who managed to get a drive and they were quite happy with what they experienced. Looks like Maruti have a winner on their hands.
Will go for a drive when I get some time to spare.

By your analogy Yamaha should be the leader in the 2 wheeler market? And dont forget Suzuki is no slouch when it comes to cars.
They have handful and they are all overpriced... especially the city which gives you zilch in the name of features and safety, even the Vtech which is priced close to 9 lakh rupees on-road.

I am sure Honda will launch NHC with ABS for 20K more. They sell NHCs with ABS, Airbags in Singapore, Malayasia and other countries.

I am sure there are buyers for NHC with ABS for 20K more.
