I am in touch with Audi sales person. As you have mentioned, its best I list out my offer snd wait if they can close it.
I was offered 6L off on the A4 tech last month, over a call by a MH Cat-A Dealer. Ofc, could have negotiated more but currently they can't offer anything close to last year's huge discounts without Audi IN's support.
A4 availability is low right now. Maybe they're producing less due to shortage of CKD Kits. As a result, the discounts are also low.

The only model which has a great support from Audi IN in terms of discounting is the A6. Stock availablity is good too.

If you're really keen to get the A4, like I'm, it's better to wait for a few months (Sep-Oct, preferably). Q3 launch is due in the coming months and the A4 Ex-showroom prices have been increased too (w.e.f 1st July). My hunch is that Audi IN might offer back the great discounts on the A4 just before launching the Q3 (at the older Ex-showroom price of the A4) in order to clear off the MY22 A4 stocks completely and to generate volumes too.

Another advice would be to get in touch with the MH and Delhi NCR dealers if your local dealer isn't offering much. There can be a great difference between the amount of discount offered and in that case it's better to get the car from Mumbai/ Delhi NCR and then get it self registered.

Thanks for the inputs.
I am planning to wait till October to see the discounts offered. Since the SA is known to me for the past 9 years, he told he will advice me when we can get the maximum discounts.

Best thing to do, absolutely!

Just spoke to my SA from a MH Cat-A Dealer, nothing great or better than last month in terms of discounts on the A4.
They're offering 3 years Comprehensive Service Package along with the car and the 5yrs Extended Warranty is standard now, so no big deal about it.

FYI - Estimate for the first service for my A4. I had a few bumper scratches and so bumper painting is also included.

Bill amount on the higher side for the first service, I would think.

Some items among combo cleaning & polishing for Rs 10,000 + vehicle washing for Rs 1375 + lot of "cleaner" items for ~Rs 3500 + additive for ~Rs 1300 = totaling about Rs 15,000+ are perhaps unwanted (or should be negotiated for freebies /discount), unless you asked for them specifically.

The quote is definitely excessive with too many washing / cleaning items added.

The online service calculator is not working any more, I remember it to be about 30k for the first service.
I also cannot find the service schedule table usually in the user manual showing cleaning and changing intervals for various consumable.

Please do share the final cost for service, my car is due in three weeks.

Also, are there any updates for the offline maps. The maps which came with the car are database 2017.

Guys, insurance is due for renewal next month, I have received a quote of 65k. This is HDFC ergo. It includes IDV of 40L, Zero dep, engine and gearbox protector.
Bajaj is coming out to be 85k for same inclusions.
Also any offers on service? I am told that if I get service done this month, I will get Rs. 3000 worth detailing free and additional Rs.1000 discount along with 3% cashback which can be used to purchase any merchandise.

What is your IDV for insurance?

37 Lacs. I remember you getting the Technology trim, so that would imply a higher IDV and a slightly higher insurance premium in your case.

Why only call out Audi, prices in the last 2 years or so have increased across the board and in many cases much more than what Audi has done with the A4!

Erosion of brand value due to heavy discounting, lack of diesel engines and absence of a fresh design language remain Audi's biggest drawbacks in India. Ironically the exact opposite of these three reasons, i.e. terrific brand value (being the newest entrant back in 2010), frugal turbo diesel engines and fresh design language (what with those gorgeous LED headlamps) were the driving factor for Audi's entire range between 2010-2015!

Notably, there was a time when luxury car buyers had deserted Mercedes for BMW, and then Mercedes & BMW for Audi for having the latest and greatest. Here's hoping Audi finds their mojo soon enough and takes the fight to the BMW & Mercedes in the coming months.

Any news on any offers on Audi A4 this year. It's October and discounts should be around the corner if not already. Unless Audi has some some other plans.

Anyone has any news do kindly update.

Already, Audi is offering their traditional huge (10L+) discounts to corporates. Unsure about individuals though.

How does the corporate discount work? Any clue as to what's the latest discount being offered on A4 in NCR (Gurgaon). I saw a pre-owned A4 (top variant) -Oct 2021 with 12k mileage in Gurgaon Audi. The asking price was 44 lacs> I found it to be extremely high. Am thinking a new A4 can be negotiated for ~48-50 lacs in Nov.

Gone are the days, when we used to get the insane discounts thanks to the completely online purchase portal of Mercedes, while we still can squeeze a good amount of discounts on Audi. We recently purchased an A4 technology variant for approx 51 including 5 years of service package, hopefully with the year ending some more stock clearance discounts will be coming.

Congratulations on your new car. Was this the facelift car with upgraded speakers and flat steering or the older one MY22?
