I think you need to check for the signal for the RPM in a Brown coloured wire. If the same is present in your stock wiring, a direct swap is possible (which I doubt). Else, you would have to make a connection from the wiring present under your dashboard (consult a technician) from the Brown coloured signal wire and make a connection to your new speedometer (with the tachometer)!

Re: Azure Grey 2006 Maruti-Suzuki Swift VXi | Ownership Review

Hello

I have a swift 2013 vdi. Currently i have a Jvc lcd head unit. I want to change my head unit, but im more into oem units than android ones. Will i be able to retrofit any maruthi oem head unit which have carplay and android auto. If yes, what do they generally cost if u have any idea.

Thank in advance

You can check for the Ertiga ( 2015-2017 ) ZXi+ / ZDi+ Variant headunit. It is a bosch one with native android auto and Carplay. Directly Plug and Play with your car since the Stereo fascia is also the same. Should be able to source this in the price range of 5k to 8K mark

For the LDi variants , I've seen that swaping the meter directly to VDi without any wiring change / mod works perfectly and the RPM also works due to CanBus wires.

Try it out and let us know.

Could you confirm if the pin connector of the clock in stock has the BCM wiring inputs already present in the Vxi model of K12 Swift ? Also, the part number which you had shared 34600-63J03 is different from mine which is 34600-62J51.

Is it the compatibility of the Monitor with my BCM or the missing wiring connection from the BCM to your understanding?
Okay so I believe you need to change the BCM to a Dzire BCM (VXi or ZXi ) will do. G13B BCM and K12M BCM are crosscompatible. Change it and you should see the clock working. But again your clock part number is different, that could also be the case. Just make sure to plug in the SDT ( Suzuki Diagnostic Tool ) from MASS and see if the outside temperature is displayed in the Laptop. If yes then your BCM is reading the outside temperature from the Ambient Sensor if installed like i mentioned in my earlier posts. If the temperature is displayed then you know you have the incorrect clock and need to source a different one similar to what i got. Notice yours has a different backlight as compared to what i got.

Hope this helps
