the tyres are michelin 4x4 synchrone 255/65 R 16H

retail 7500 per tyre. can bring it down to between 6500-6800 depending on negotiating skills!!

p.s . wanted to know why you getting high security plates from pune. also how much they costing you... got a quote of 950 for a set of 2 here in delhi - wondering whether i should or shouldn't.

I get it through a dealer at Cochin, Emperor ( known for ICE). They too charge me the same rate, i.e., for a pair. Will try to post pix of my Safari after I give it for service so that it will look clean

Emperor sources it from Pune.

Why wasnt the tweeter fixed where it should have as in stock? Would have OE and neat.

dude,

the white NEVER looks dirty!!! she looks pure as driven snow and whiter than a baby's bottom!

the tweeter was too big to go into the stock location and it was leaving a large gap which would have looked horrendous. this was the most practical solution. the rears also have a set of tweeters, just behind the b pillars, will post pics of those as well in a couple of days.

(back to travelling again this is getting really tedious!)

cheers.

'of course!!!'

my folks used to have an 800 and i used to love the damn car - it takes abuse and then just flings it right back in your face to carry on as if nothing happened!!!

yeah man - just that the damn travelling ain't happening in the safari!!

when you fly around on work, for 6 days at a time every 2-3 days, it gets mega tedious to say the least!!

cheers krazy,

i'll keep a track of where, when and how the meet is developing and will try and make it - might be travelling though.

although, going by the copious amounts of alcohol that seem to be consumed at these do's, my feeble liver which barely handles a glass of beer, is already going into cardiac arrest! should be fun though!!

stay safe man cheers:

Hey Thanks.
Well my driver/cleaner is a cleanoholic (sic) ,he makes sure that both cars are gleaming all the time so he washes them every morning and they get waxed/polished every weekend.

Looking forward to some more killer pics when you come back.
