hey guys have booked a swift vxi through vitesse before the launch and the best part is the guys are least bothered about the customer they didnt call me when the car came down to the showroom, they didnt call me for a test drive when they started giving a test drive and to top it off every time i call them up about the car all they have to say is "We have not got any details about the car, the moment we do well give you call" which again seems to be some sort of gimmick cause most of the other dealers have already started deliveries(one dealre said i have got the customers cars but they are not commin to take deliveries for some unknown reason as per him on the first day of deliveries till afternoon noone came to take deliveries) and have got plenty of cars in their stock yards and are openly mentioning about a premium for ready delivery of any colour choice for the VXI and the vitesse fellows just dont seem to give a damn about the customers i called up the guy whos in charge for my car and all he says i dont know anything and if i ask for a superiors number all he says is they havent come today or theyve gone for lunch i feel they are a disgrace.Am totally disaapointed about the customer care shown by them as well as marutis apathy at not trying to stop black marketing of the car.
Any ideas as to how i can get the thruth out of the vitesse people???? The wait is killing me and it kills me even more when i see a swift on road or when people call me up and offer me the car at a premium as low as 7K.

well, if the dealers and the company itself seem unfazed- contact the marketing dept. via phone; the guys at maruti (or any car co.) take action only if you speak to the right dudes....and also, the guys at maruti have knowledge about the "illegal" sales of their cars, but this happens during every car launch, and even though it doesn't seem right, there are hundreds of illiterate nutheads out there who'll pay a premium just to get the first piece...of an upper "B" segment car, that is- it is, however, okay, in my opinion, for any nuthead to pay a premium and get the first piece of any newly launched "D" segment car.....

as for the dealer deliveries, the first "official" swift (a vxi) was delivered in mumbai, by sai service, on 6th june- by late morning.. the delivery took place at andheri...

well, if they say that it'll take more than a fortnight for delivering your ride, then go right ahead and take them to task for it...

Surprisingly Swift (Suzuki) got 4 stars in EuroNCAP with Swift "suffering minimal deformation in the frontal impact and providing good protection for adults throughout."

http://www.euroncap.com/content/safe...?id1=6&id2=213

It appears that Maruti has done a proper homework with a world class product which has been receiving so many awards and even getting a clearance from EURONCAP. It will probably survive many future tests. I did not favour Swift due to its small car reputation but these reviews make you think, don't they? Also I think that Swift has many deficiencies at present like ordinary interiors and squeaking noises however I feel that Maruti has done it on purpose and will soon present its all new Swift with better features to keep the Indian market captivated with its world class product for many years to come and to keep its cash registers filled up year after year. Maruti must have foreseen the competition they will have to face in the coming years due to globalisation in Indian Markets, so I feel that they have some tough plans for improved verions of Swift in the coming years. I think that they are well prepared. This is probably going to be another at least 5-7 years of success like the Maruti 800 and Esteems of the yester years for which they have still been releasing 'All Improved' versions. They do not want to release the best product in one go and end all profits for years though they can do so? Isn't it?
