Thanks a lot guys, the final set of pics will be up in a few mins.

The car is 9.1k kms old and a 10k kms review is coming up too. This car is a dream to drive and day after day, the charm is growing and the love is just strengthening. I just love driving alone with her in the rain with some nice music on.

My car is finally back on Monday evening. Work done was okish. Paint seemed not to match that night but today in the cloudy weather with the car covered in rain droplets, it looked fine. Will have to check it in proper bright sunny daylight. There are small niggles to be corrected like alignment, steering is a little tilted, bulb warning light, and door rattlings. Will be doing quite a bit for my car over the next 2 weeks.

For me no warranty issues. Well till now no hue and cry and I dont think there will be any also. I got it fixed by the minda people.

The number plates costed me around 750Rs.

Time for a quick update :

1. Car now has new Linea alloys with 195/60 Continental CPC2 tires.
2. Whole lot of scratches thanks to vandalization.
3. Bumper and fender should be repainted by Fiat, bad job by the workshop.
4. Car is about 13k kms old.
5. Slight noise from engine in neutral and in first gear with clutch pressed in fully.
6. Few rattlings from roof and door pads.
7. A few parts are YET to come and need to change the Clutch slave cylinder.
8. The stupid warning light is being a pain. I got a 100/90 relay kit powered from the battery directly. So I dont think I can complain regarding this.

How much did you pay for the Linea alloys ? And comparison between the old tyres and the new ones ?

The alloys and tires totaled to 33k. The alloys costed me 12k or 11k I guess, forgot as it was quite a while back There is a world of difference between the stupid crap JKs and the Contis. Grip and handling is improved by leaps and bounds. The tires are good on dry roads but awesome on wet roads.
