Jakky, some more options for you to consider....

Here's the link to the pics of my Ikon with Lenso SHU 15" rims, clad in Yokohama S.Drive 195/50 R15 rubber.

Congratulations. Upload pics when you get the rims and tyres.

I was running 30psi on the tyres for the last couple of weeks, and the car ran fine. Changed to 28psi and the car is MUCH smoother. Literally feels like I'm driving on cushions. The tyres soak up the biggest bumps with aplomb.

Try both, see which one you like.

Jakky, i suggest you go for lip alloy wheels. like the ones that ghostrider have on his ikon. see the photoshopped pics in ur "my suzuki swift" thread to get a better idea of how lip alloys ll look on your ride.

That's a very good size for the Swift. At the most there will be a slight compromise in FE.

FE will drop a bit, in my case it's about 0.5 - 0.8 Kmpl. That's hardly anything. I just love the S-Drives

FE be damned! what happens to straight line acceleration/speed? will the difference be noticeable? i suppose we can make up more than the loss there, at the corners.

With 15 inch Rims and 185/70/R15s the tyre calculator shows a 3.3 % error. Is that acceptable? Will there be any tyre rubbing under full load ? scrape the insides? The right upsize is 185/65/R15s with 0.3% error but if i can get more profile with the 15 inchers i would love it.
What say ?Anyone tried this?

Hi, i guess the max tolerance is 3%. I don't think this is the correct upsize and not sure if anyone has tried it out. It's not just about scraping the insides, wrong upsizing can affect handling and braking as well.

Yes but a 0.3% more wont make much of a difference.I had 145/80/R12s in my 800 when the stock size was 145/70/R12s and it worked perfectly in handling, braking departments all perfectly.
All i am worried about is scraping at full loads and full steering lock position. When i can get 70 profile tyres on R15s and dont have to go for R14s i am a super happy man.

Doesn't 185/70/15 come on the ZXI as stock?
Got that Kp. What about the vxi's do they use the 14" or 13"?
