Thanks iraghava. Like I mentioned in my earlier post, the noise is kinda min. and not that bad as mentioned by the tyre dealer. Infact Aditya from chennai was the 1st BHP'ian to get a drive in the car and he dint complain either .As for my personal experience , the tyres are a little hard.
Thanks once again for suggestions from you guys. Have quite a few fans @ office for my car now.

Tyre dealer pumped in 30psi. I used 32 for a highway run and then back again to 30 for city driving. Working fine for me.

Hey RJ,
Congrats yaar this calls for a treat , the lady looks great. GSD2’s are great tires. Try doing a “U” Turn at 60 man I’m sure you won't be disappointed. Add me to your cars fans list. Keep 30 PSI, as I do keep 30PSI all the time on my car and Highway driving 32PSI. Get Your Brake Caliper's painted.

hi subbu and kzen, Thanks for the comments.. Yes its a new one, bought it in the month of Feb 2007, though i wanted the black colour but unfortunetly they were out of stock and this was the only colour available... so i had to go for this but after fixing the rims and tyres ,it really stands out.

I said goodbye to my Goodyear Eagle NCT5s after 28 k kms of driving...the tyre wear as measured by the dealer was only 40% but the road noise had increased considerably with a boom setting in between the 40 kmph to 55 kmph mark..this boom would subside at speeds higher or lower than this range..there was no wobble whatsover either...but since this is the speed that you do generally in city..was getting pretty irksome..
managed some 50% refund for 4 tyres and shifted to Michelin Energy XM Assymetric pattern in the same size..185/65R14..so far so good...will report more as I pile on kms..did not want a wider tyre since Baleno boot already finds it difficult to hold this size only ...dont want to reduce luggage space further

This has been a known problem with some of the Good Year products & that's we advise people to stay away from them.
