Well we like to be anal about it but the problem is that we have a very limited variety of alloys available & most dealers (if not all) have no clue what an offset is. So, we gotta make do with whatever we can get.

Nos - The ODO is caliberated to calculate the distance based on the OD (Overall Diameter) of the wheels & tyres. In your case there is hardly any difference between the OD of the two sizes. To illustrate:

The OD of 195/65 R15 is 1993.34
The OD of 225/45 R17 is 1992.71

So, the difference is only -0.63mm, which is about as negligible as it gets.

You get them for about 22.5/23k in Mumbai for a set of 4.

Hi,

Not sure about transport charges, should be approx 1000-1200 + octroi thats what they charge to send a Free Flow to Banglore(25-30kgs)

If someone have to improve civic brakes so which tyres should they go for on stock rims ? if change the rims to 16 then it will effect ride quality ?
