I saw a Xing shodded with 185/60 MRF ZVTS tyres! Looked damn cool. Would the ride be better? FE should come down right?

On 13 inch? Surely the ride will be better since sidewall will be wider and tubeless will be softer. Not sure about the handling since the height will increase.

6jj rims means width(depth) of rim is 6 inches..
The "J" symbolises the shape of the tyre bead profile....
Santro has stock 4j rims...

I dont think its safe to drive 185 with 4j rims......
It will have very poor handling......
Braking will also go for a toss....above 80kph
Tyre wear will be in a diagonal pattern n there will be too much load on the beads....
It should have minimum of 5.5j rims with 185...
You wont feel any such problem if you are driving within city speed limits..

my santro on 175/60/R13 Potenza GIII on Chrome alloys from what i feel 185 would be a tad too big for the front wheel arches u would have to fit spacers. And spacers means the tyre coming out of the arch which means high back spray on the body when u are on the wet or dirt patch...

the 60 profile potenza give harsh slow speed ride but anything beyond 80kmph is just WOW! and FE is the same or better since i'm using alloys lighter than the stock rims.
