A couple of nice old pics found in an elderly neighbour's photo albums. The car seems to have been used as a baraat car in her wedding in Madras back in 1957 or 58. A couple of friends have identified it as an Austin 20.

The Ford bus pic I was told was taken at Delhi sometime in the 50s.

Not sure if I have posted this pic before. This is our 1957 Fiat 1100 and our 1995 Maruti Suzuki Esteem.

All these pictures are from Bombay July 1930, Pandit Motilal Nehru led the protests against the British rule and certain judgments of the British Indian courts.

In the 1st picture Pt. Motilal Nehru can be seen on top of a dais, (alamy stock photo)

Yes it indeed is in vizag. ☺️
My family has been from vizag for quite some while now. (May be from 1940s or 50s )

Unfortunately I do not have any more info to share about the bike though.

Pictures from Madras presidency, RD series was earlier determined to be from Ramnad.

In the first picture the car appears to be parked before a typical Chettinad mansion somewhere in Ramnad district.
