Good show guys. Who owns the cream 'D' model Lambretta? BYH regd.

And is the MYO red and white Vespa genuinely the early model with the headlight mounted below or is a later conversion? I ask because I would consider a conversion on a Bajaj someday.

The red an white seems to be later conversion going by the handlebar which look similar to the Bajaj Autorickshaw.

It was very good show. Sujith, your scooter is really lovely. Many think its a Vijat Super

but once they come to know that its a rare imported scooter then they are shell shocked!

Hi all,

I have managed to get a book for the Servicing and Maintenance of the Lambrattas. Its a book for all the models of the Lambretta company, as all the models shared the basic architecture for the engine and electrical, systems, etc

I am uploading a few scans of the book as sample. Will soon work out the cost on the copies of it for all the interested BCSC members. Should be less than 100/- I suppose, as its only of 180 Pages.

NOTE: Please do not ask the source of the book. My friend managed to get it for me with great difficulty from a secret location

Thank you, sir! Those were some excellent photos you have taken! The Red Bull team bumped into us at the April Rally, and asked if they could distribute Red Bull in the May Rally...it was a hot Sunday, the ride was tiring, but the Red Bull helped!!!

Club member, Mr. Ritesh owns the D 150. I had a hunch you'd ask about the Vespa. Yes, it is a later conversion, and so is the "Series 1" Lambretta you see. Both jobs executed remarkably well.

The 118NE CLUB BENGAURU [NECB], officially invites all the members of BCSC for the inauguration of NECB, which will mark its Foundation day. Details of the meet are given below:

Date : Sunday, 6th June 2010
Time : 1100Hrs (11am)
Venue : Central Library, Cubbon Park, Bangalore

BCSC members owning 118NEs will be automatically granted membership in NECB. And members who don't are always welcome to participate in NECB Meets and Rally.

The June 2010 rally saw the participation of around 26 scooters. It was an organized and disciplined rally, and we thank all members for the co-operation shown on this ride. As of this rally, we have begun requesting people to wear their helmets. BCSC thanks everyone who attended and helped to make the rally a success.

Here's a nice series 2 I saw near Hennur a few years ago. You've got some great scooters there. Very jeleous - they are hard to get hold of here, maybe 30-40 running Lambrettas in the whole country.
