Mahindra TUV300 Plus brochure leaked

There has been no word on the Mahindra TUV300 Plus launch date yet. However, leaked brochure scans suggest that the launch could be just around the corner.

The TUV300 Plus, which is expected to replace the Xylo, is essentially a stretched version of the TUV300. It measures 4,400 mm in length, 1,835 mm in width and 1,812 mm in height. At 2,680 mm, the wheelbase is identical to the standard sub-4 metre TUV300. The upcoming SUV offers seating for 9 people and comes with a 60-litre fuel tank.

Although not confirmed, the TUV300 Plus is expected to be available in a single P4 variant. In terms of styling, the longer version looks similar to the TUV300. Up front, it has a 5-slat grille flanked by sweptback headlamps and a rectangular air dam on the front bumper. It has squared-off wheel arches and a larger 3rd-row quarter glass, courtesy of the extended rear section. It features new wraparound tail lamps and has a tail gate-mounted spare tyre.

The TUV300 Plus has basic, dual-tone interiors and a twin-pod instrument cluster. At the back, it has side-facing 3rd row seats that can seat four people. Some of the features on offer include power steering with tilt adjustment, power windows, central locking, air-conditioning, internally adjustable ORVMs and 12V charging points.

Under the bonnet, the TUV300 Plus is powered by a 2.2-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine that produces 120 BHP @ 4,000 rpm and 280 Nm of torque @ 1,800-2,800 rpm. It is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. Some of the standard safety features include child locks, seat belt warning, door ajar warning, anti-theft steering lock and side intrusion beams among others.

The TUV300 Plus will be offered in four colour options - Bold Black, Majestic Silver, Dynamo Red and Glacier White.
