Mahindra XUV900 to get 210 BHP diesel engine

The same engine could be used in the Mahindra XUV700 facelift as well.

The upcoming Mahindra XUV900 is likely to get a twin-scroll turbo mHawk diesel engine producing 210 BHP. The same engine could be used in the Mahindra XUV700 facelift as well.

Rumours suggest that this could be the last generation of diesel engines developed by Mahindra, with the Indian car company shifting to petrol and electric powertrains only in the future.

The XUV900 will be an SUV coupe likely to share its underpinnings with the XUV700. The interior could be shared with the XUV700. The vehicle is expected to go on sale in 2024.
