Skoda has announced the variant-wise prices for the Kylaq. The compact SUV is priced between Rs 7.89 lakh and Rs 14.40 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings will commence at 4 pm today, and deliveries will start on January 27, 2025.
The Skoda Kylaq is available in four variants: Classic, Signature, Signature+ and Prestige. The base Classic trim is only available with a manual transmission, while the rest get an automatic option.
The Kylaq is powered by the familiar 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, which produces 113 BHP and 178 Nm. It is paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The Skoda Kylaq is based on the MQB-A0-IN platform and looks almost like a mini-Kushaq. It has a similar front fascia with a split headlamp setup and rides on 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.
Inside, the Kylaq gets a dual-screen layout with an 8-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It has features like wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a wireless phone charger, ventilated front seats, an electrically adjustable driver seat, a Canton sound system, and ambient lighting.
The Kylaq is available in seven exterior colours: Tornado Red, Brilliant Silver, Candy White, Carbon Steel, Lava Blue, Deep Black, and Olive Gold. The carmaker is offering a standard warranty of 3 years / 1,00,000 km.
