| Senior - BHPian | It's been a really long time since I actually opened a new thread and penned my thoughts like I did for the Show-off thread for my earlier car, my beloved Es(q)teem. http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/sound-...er-hermit.html (Frankmehta’s eS(Q)teem®: Eclipse| Illusion Audio| DLS| Genesis| Monster|Hermit) I am now compelled to open a new thread for my newly acquired Ford Fiesta S. I got her on the 14th of August, and started ICEing her on the 7th of September. 12 long days later, she is ready. My S is ready to rock. And how! The equipment goes like this: 1. Head Unit: Eclipse CD7200MKII 2. Front Stage: -----Alpine SPX-17PRO 2-way Components -----DLS RA20 2 Channel power amplifier 3. Sub Stage: -----JBL W12GTi Subwoofer in a Sealed FG Enclosure -----Clarion DPX11551 Monoblock Amplifier 4. Sound Deadening: -----Noisekill: Over 65 sq. ft spread in various parts of the car. 5. Wiring: RCA: Monster XLN401 Pro Power Cabling: Polycab 3 Core Wire (35 sq. mm.) I am very tired, since I am just back from the install, so I won't say much. I was pretty awestruck by the entire experience, and hence did not get the inclination to take too many photos. My install has been covered partly in this thread: http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/ask-gu...finalized.html And my conqeust for a new sub has been discussed in this thread: http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/ask-gu..._makker-s.html (The Dilemma of the Low_Bass_makker/s?) A few youtube videos, followed by some photos. Sorry for them being less in no. Just too tired. This was ONE detailed, time consuming install spanning about 5 whole days. Hats off to: -Ajay, Shafiq- For their unparalleled co operation and immaculate installation -LBM- For being instrumental in getting my system alive and 'kicking' -Sam: For helping me procure the JBL W12GTi -KMD+Fizzmall: For the equipments brought in from the USA. -My family and my girlfriend for supporting me in this endeavour. I was MAD, and troubled these guys a lot to get what I wanted. THE system needs a lot of tuning, but is sounding AMAZING out of the box. We shall let the speakers run in for a few days, and fabricate the tweeter pods soon. After that, we shall have one round of final tuning and then I shall post my review. Videos followed by some Photos. Infractions: 0/1 (10) | Good to see you got what you wanted. Are you facing any problems in terms of access to the spare tire or you guys cut out a new board for that? |

| Very neatly done. Keep the subwoofer literature in car you might need its support to tell police its only a speaker. why is tweeter pod taking time? where is the fuse which delayed the whole thing? Are you going to miss the luccents anymore? Last edited by gigy : 20th September 2009 at 07:24. |
