yep,
The news is true. 3 weeks back a little birdie informed me that jeeps are being churned out of their zaheerabad plant. Exports start end of august or early sept.
Price ? with a scorpio heart and a bolero bones, its not coming cheap.
This might be released in india as well. Probably they wanted to position it alongside the xenon in the niche "Lifestyle vehicle" segment.

That tag lets the manufacturer price the vehicle out of the enthusiasts reach.

If priced at around the cost of a Bolero SLX Di Turbo. It would make sense. Anything more and it was not meant for our shores anyways.

I dont think M&M will price it in Xenons territory! Xenon is too big vehicle and probabaly new MM550 will have half the metal used on Xenon. Also whats the point in pricing it in Getaway category?

It will be significantly cheaper...if and only if made for India.

Behram Sir we saw one 540 in Coorg event with something change in it, I guess it's in testing process.

I did not take Photo it was total dark in parking lot and we had no camera

and mobile phone was no use. I do not own Jeep but my friends who are specialist in Jeep and driving 540 they found few difference one was Front and Back Differential was Wide like Invader.

Sounds like the '09 NGCS 550. Saw one of these beauties in all White Military Police colors. It had a 09 Army registration. Stands differently from the older Army 550s.
