The value of Team-BHP

How many of you have actually saved money from being part of Team-BHP ? I can quote various instances already !

1: Just reading about GTO's visit to Automech - His download saved me a potential 2.5 lakhs!

2: I helped GTO save 1000's on his insurance

3: We can get a good fix on market prices, discounts on offer

Knowledge is power...or is it money ?

Sitting in front of the laptop screen viewing Team-BHP instead of partying, dinners, movies

Couple of grand a month

Getting good deals on insurance, auto products, alloy wheels etc.

Couple of grand a year

Making some great friends, increasing and sharing my automotive knowledge, having a blast and gaining enormous satisfaction from Team-BHP

PRICELESS

Team-BHP. For things money cant buy.

I am saving couple of hundreds every month on Auto mags. If not tbhp, I would have been buying all the top 4 mags every month. As told by GTO, I also earned many good friends and priceless knowledge.

The biggest value of Team-BHP if you ask me is that unlike ALL Indian Auto Magazines/ Journals, Team-BHP is where one finds true information on cars, modifications, add-ons, spares etc. This happens because Team-BHP does NOT follow an agenda set by an advertiser who also happens to be the manufacturer of automobiles/ spare parts/ add-ons/ etc. like ALL Indian Auto Magazines/ Journals do.

Also, another very big advantage of visiting/ joining Team-BHP is that I am a member of Team-BHP too...

I have kicked the Auto Magazine habit after becoming a TBHP member - else my first stop after I visit India was my local paanwallah who stocks all the old copies that I havent bought, after which I would spend about 3 days reading them in and out.

I'm now very selective about the automags I buy, and I dont buy all issues either. Other than the monetary issue there, I find much more meaningful discussions on the forum than the biased or we-cant-hurt-anyone reviews in the automags.

Plus, I've been reading Indian automags from the first Indian Auto Journal back in 1987 or so...I've written to many of them as well, but none of them have given me the personal sense of belonging that I find here. Neither have I spent a whole night listening to classing rock and gulping down copious quantities of Kingfisher with any auto journalist, but a TBHP member tried to drink me under the table recently...

there are quite a few reasons to be on T-BHP ...

1. it saves u as rightly pointed out by many, a lot of money .also its comes as a breath of fresh air with not havin to put up with whims and fancies of unethical automobile magazine editorials...who are primarily driven by their self-interest...
2. T-BHP is a common domain of all motor enthusiasts includin others who r not...a platform shared by fellow citizens who are armed with right facts and knowledge to pervade misappropriations.
3. for all that inicisive comments tht creates learnin
4. for that excitement which governs the state of mind
5. ur alertness responsiveness towards spreading knowledge which helps aplenty to make decisions.
6. and most importantly it speaks about a common man's objective, trades differences that prevail in automotive sector across the globe and sell indian automobile dream of being self-reliant and progressive..
