I haven't seen it being done yet myself, so quite frankly, I don't know how

I guess the sheets are cut into strips and stuck to the bottom-end of the spoiler, making it more stiff & heavy, and less prone to flexing & rattling.

It is. The GTO75.4, bridged will drive even demanding subwoofers with ease.

I am worried if playing music at a volume like 19, where the bass output is excellent will ruin the speakers.

Please suggest. Am not planning for an amp right away, but am worried if otherwise the speakers will be ruined.
I understand your question. Please do not play the speakers at a volume where they begin to jar and sound distorted.
I'va said it before and I'll say it again. Your HU is clipping. It is easier to blow up speakers with a under powered amplifier than a high power one. Later, when you put in an amplifier you will be able to turn it up louder with ease.

I believe that normally, it is not difficult to find and buy JBL/Infinity products in Kolkata.

However, we are going through some changes in distributors in that zone in the next few weeks and you may have some difficulties in procuring the products. Look around, let me know if you need any help.

And good luck with your ICE quest.

Yes, it is. We just fitted one of these to a friend's setup replacing a Sony 554 and it made a HUGE difference. In that setup also it's powering JBL 6.5" comps in the front & a 12" JBL subwoofer in a sealed box & compared to the Sony the JBL amp made the sub & comps sing amazingly well.

Both of us (me & my friend) were very impressed and not to mention happy with the outcome!!

Thanks folks.
@sam: i'll let you know if i face any issues. i might be coming to bombay with the car to get some non-ICE work done (haven't found a good place as yet in cal). do you think its a good idea to get the ICE fitted there? i was reserving all interiors, ICE + body work for cal, because I don't want to risk anything getting damaged/stolen on the truck back to cal.

Well if you're coming here with the car, I know that Mumbai is a much better place to install ICE. May as well.

Just one more question. If I install a 4 channel amp without a sub and then play the music loud, do I stand a chance of blowing my speakers, or I have to necessarily install amp. Not sure which amp to buy in less than 4k.

you stand a greater chance of blowing you speakers by underpowering them than over powering them.

Had another query regd the sub.
Is there a big difference of quality between the GT4-12 and the GTO1204D/1202D (couldn't see any difference in the last 2's specs)?
And how about the cost difference?
