@riju - nice pic ! though the contrast looks a tad bit high, it suits the picture !
btw, is it cropped a lot ? a man standing nearby would make it look alive.

@mobike - nice one ! keep them comin.

Another one,

Camera : Nikon D40X
Car: A friend's white viva crdi
Location: Deer park in Hyderabad at about 7pm in the evening

I liked the way the picture came out with the city lights in the backdrop. Critical comments welcome

3 shades of green in the very same picture. So maybe it needed some extra contrast .

No-one was standing by and yes I have to confess that I waited for someone to come around. My bad luck.

Avi is it only me, I see that both pics have a lot of noise in it .. What was the ISO set at ?

Riju, now that you brought it to my notice, i looked up the exif data and indeed it was shot with the highest ISO available ( 3200). I generally like to take pictures without flash due to which the ISO shot up. I am a complete amateur and all my shooting is on experimental basis

Viva pic

ISO : 3200
Aperture: F3.8
Focal: 22mm
Exposure: 1/25

Lights Pic

ISO : 3200
Aperture: F5.6
Focal: 55mm
Exposure: 1/4000

Considering we know nothing about you, how are we supposed to guess? Was it you, your wife, young son/daughter, tourist guide, timer function, some passerby, it clicked when you dropped it, or a monkey that accidentally picked the camera... Not sure how you expect us to guess.
