Hi Guys,

I am thinking of buying a 32 inch LCD and was fairly impressed by a VU at Croma today. Has anyone here bought this make and if so, what is the feedback? After sales? It is about Rs. 10,000 cheaper than the equivalent Samsung so is quite tempting.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,

SS

I recently purchased a LG LED tv (model 32LE5500). Very satisfied with the picture clarity, though the audio is not that good. I have connected my Philips 5.1 for audio. Any one who has this model please let me know how to use the DLNA and Netcast function.

Thanks

Hi Guys,

This question is to all the Panasonic P42V20 owners, Does the India spec model have the video recording feature? I have not heard any one mention about it, even the panasonic India website does not mention anything about it.

Thanks

I would in general stay away from ebay.
Regarding Airtel DTH pack, please confirm that the DTH dish+LNB+set top box is included along with installation and cable charges.

I've got my TV 2 year back from a dealer I just shared the offer.

Till date there's nothing wrong with Ebay, I used to make purchases through CC both high/low value. If its a high value purchase they will call you personally before processing the order. If you feel cheated, ask for the refund within 7 days time. You don't have to worry about.

Major problem is with display pieces.

In case of offline purchase you have an option of doing PDI and checking how many hours the piece has been used for. If that is more than a few hours, then its display piece for sure. This can be checked in service menu.

With online purchase, it would not be possible.

I bought a new 50inch Panasonic plasma TV two days back. Availed the Dasara offer.
Model:- P50 V20D
Price:- 1,04,000 ater discount + 3years warranty including the panel+ Benetton Sunglasses and Watch(MRP on the box is about 8k for both)
Its a new model from Panasonic about 30% slimmer than the other plasma TVs. Picture quality is awesome...LEDs and LCD's cannot even come close to the features this TV has.
V series has 5million:1 contrast ratio, 600Hz, Viera cast with skype, youtube, bloomberg etc and 0.001ms response time.
Only negative aspect of this TV is it consumes more power than LCD's- about 350W when you run on full HD and full screen with all vibrant colors.. You will love this TV.
I would suggest all to go to a nearest panasonic dealer for a demo before they buy an flat TV.
This plasma TV rocks. No burn out effects now since the Firmware/software now is different. it features a Neo PDP panel that saves energy also.
if you need more info pm me please.

In that case you can ask for a refund stating that the seller is in fraudulent activity. You have an option of 7 days time to check the genuineness of the product shipped to you and as I said earlier, if its a high value item, the CC will make sure this.

Bangalore mirror had an ad today (page 21) regarding Panasonic tv's. I need an upgrade but not too soon, maybe Jan next year. As per the ad, only plasma models that fit my budget (read cheapest) are :

P42A20D = 40,990 (exchange price) on the higher side
P42X20D = 38,990 (exchange price) budget can be stretched to reach here.

My question is out of the above models, which one is better ?
Are there any other models in A / X series which have proven themselves ?
Which series is better between A / X ?
Which is the new series A/ X ?

Its difficult since its not "used" since you are the first buyer and seller is selling the same thing as advertised on ebay listing.

This for sure will take weeks to follow up and actually get refund (that too if that ever happens).

With offline purchase since you are testing it before delivery (and payment), things are MUCH easier.

Which 32 inch LCD TV would be the best for within 30k range? Thinking about Samsung (32C450/480)/Panasonic(X series)/LG(any suggestion??). Sony will be out of reach from the prices that I've seen so far.
I'm bit tempted to see the ebay offer posted by Sajjt. That's a pretty good deal.

Check out Panasonic 32U20 as well. You can get it for <30k if you bargain well.
I am planning to buy one myself and pretty close to buying the 32U20 model. I am also looking at LG 32LD550 and 32LH60YR. Any reviews on these models will help.

Its purely subjective I think, your money will not be transferred to the seller until and unless you give a good feed back. You can ask for a refund if the item is used beyond a particular hours and that doesnt implies whether you are the first buyer or not. Seller will be clearly stating the item condition, if its different from the item you've received, you can ask for the refund or replacement.

If you send it back to the seller the courier charges will also be refunded as soon as you send the way bill copy to Ebay.

There may be bitter experiences for others but for me till date I am happy with the transactions/refunds.

Online purchases are for convenience and getting the best deals available. If I get a better deal from the local seller obviously I will go to him.
