I have an LCD Screen installed in my car and it has 2 Video inputs. The first one I am using for my reverse camera.

I was thinking if there is anyway of connecting my E90 to the second video input. I want to connect as I have installed MGMaps on my phone and was thinking of transferring the display to the LCD Screen.

@harjeev, the E90 doesn't have video-out. There's no video-out socket, and nobody has discovered hidden-away capabilities inside either.

@hydrashok
thanks for clearing that up. Thought it would have been great if something like video out would have been there for the E90. Would have loved to see maps on the big screen.

I have given my E90 yesterday for repairing. The mic seemed to be out of order. There was no audio out. When on a call i could hear the other party but the other party couldn't hear my voice. They said that it would take approx 12-15 days for repair. Other than that the mobile which I have been using since the past 10p months, works great.

I had the same problem on my phone too. It is a known defect for the early adopters. I believe they change the whole motherboard or something. Whatever they replaced my phone works perfectly again .

BTW new firmware upgrade is available 210.34.75 I updated mine in the beginning of may. Dont know when it was out.

BTW the most notable upgrade with the new firmware is flash lite 3 support with the built in browser. You all know what that means.

I have not updated to the ???.??.75 but when I got got my E90 from the service center they had updated it to the .73 version.

Other than that the phone now works perfectly and they even changed the side panel(which was cracked earlier), the internal screen for free and also made some adjustments to the internal KB so now it does not touch the internal screen. Whether they changed the internal keyboard or not I am not sure. but they did a good job.
The entire job took 11 days.

Yes the adobe flash player is installed.
When I check in About application it says
'Contains Adobe Flash Lite 3.0 1995-2007'

I think it came installed with the latest firmware 200.34.73 dt 15/03/2008.

It means you now have full browser capabilities.
You can watch videos on youtube, visit full flash sites etc. just like a normal computer browser.

Need Help.

Hi Guys,
I just ordered a e90 from my grey market dealer. I've been buying phones from him ever since i remember. Anyways, the issue is that the e90 - Made in Finland is 31k and Made by Nokia is 35k. My dealer says, the Finland one is better and obviously 4k less.
Your experiences please?
Thanks.

Made in Finland phones have always fetched a higher price but i guess the made by nokia one is probably with warranty.

I suggest you get the phone with warranty as the E series are pretty notorious, besides there is not much of a price diff these days. Check out the mobile store or subhiksha.

Does it really make sense to get the E90 at this point when phones like E71 etc are recent launches while the E90 is almost 2 years old.

Yes, you are right. But even the Made by Nokia is costing me 34k without warranty, which makes it more expensive than the Finland one. Infact, i just happened to speak to another dealer who said Finland phones are more reliable and 'hang' lesser.

True. But even if i buy it from my grey market dealer, its as good as getting warranty. He pretty much replaces the phone, if anything goes wrong. Have experienced it in the past.

Well, i am buying it for my better half, who is a communicator person. She cant use any other phones, damn. And besides, cant argue!.
