Sorry to say but the website you bought from seems highly suspect, especially at that price too, as Apple Magsafe chargers are never normally on such large discounts. I am unfortunately quite sure that you received a fake one. Nowadays the fakes are literally visually identical to the originals, and the only way to tell the difference is by the performance.

A quick way to check would be to take your phone to an Apple store and try it on their display Magsafe chargers to see if it works ok. (Or try the Magsafe charger you have on another iPhone).

Highly suspect as it’s being sold for 1999, whereas the original is 4500, even after seasons discounts or other offers, no way one is getting it at 55% discount.

Re: The iPhone Thread

Last week, a friend & neighbour who just got back from a vacation to Europe got me this (Leather Cover for 15 Promax) as a present from there.

Not to mention, lots of Swiss and Belgian chocolates too.

Re: The iPhone Thread

Anyone else facing issues with Wi-Fi calling after updating to iOS 17.5? The option in Settings is toggled-on on both my 12 Pro and 15 Pro, but still not visible in the manner like before: Earlier it used to show Jio Wifi/Airtel Wifi when connected to WiFi. Have restarted the phones and put the phones on flight mode too, but to no avail.

P.s. I have network issues on both, Jio & Airtel, in multiple corners of my residence, hence WiFi Calling is a saving grace.

I don't remember seeing this earlier so can't verify. On Airtel in Mumbai on a 13. I have a few in my house who haven't updated yet, how do I check what you want to verify? Would removing the sim and trying a call help?

Connect the phone to WiFi. Ensure WiFi Calling option is switched on, under the Mobile Service tab in Settings. Lock the phone. Now you can see on the top left corner of the screen if it shows up as Airtel WiFi or just Airtel.

I updated to iOS 17.5 on my 13 pro max and am not facing any issues. The carrier names are just like before.

Have you tried making a GSM call while on airplane mode (wifi of phone on) ? If the call goes through then you can share feedback with apple support.
If the call doesn't go through at all, share with apple support.

A lot of people are in the same boat as yourself after updating.

Re: The iPhone Thread

Well, it’s back to normal on my 15 Pro, but still no luck on the 12 Pro. Restarting the phone a couple of times and then toggling flight mode on and off seems to have helped on the 15 Pro. The same tactic on 12 Pro hasn’t yielded any results.

Maybe try remove the sim ( if there is one) and re-inserting it.

Re: The iPhone Thread

Anyone has replaced their iPhone batteries from Cashify?

Apparently, they have recently commenced operations in Goa and I have heard some good reviews from friends about the 2nd hand phones from them. Service is very good so far.

I just happened to check their website and found that their into repairs too !

The battery replacement of my iPhone 12 Pro costs just 5k , whereas I have got quotes from Apple’s ASS in the range of 7.5k to 8.8k !!

Just wanted to know if it would be advisable to go ahead with Cashify if they are into genuine spare parts. Or , better stick to Apple ASS.

Re: The iPhone Thread

iPhone 16 leaks video is out!

EverythingApplePro (Filip Koroy) has been mostly accurate throughout all these years. Great to see him releasing new leak videos after almost 2 years.
