Got these two from Dubai. Both colors look good. Amazing phone to use. Smooth and flawless.

How much for? Silver brings out the design well, IMO.

Is that an 8? I like the black, especially since I do not like the white band at the top and bottom of the screen in front.

I have a Verizon model number 7 plus at home, and it works without any issues with all indian networks.
Thanks. Went ahead with your suggestion and got the version iPhone X 256gb

Besides the compatibility does the Qualcomm modem have any benefits?

Re: The iPhone Thread

Any justifiable reasons to move from 6 plus to 7/8 plus, barring the slowness due to iOS 11 upgrade on the former?

Re: The iPhone Thread

today morning, iphone of 3 colleagues switched off automatically and restarted and are now hung. only an apple logo is displayed. all three are different variants - 5, 6, 7 and were running on ios11 and higher. Unique thing is this happened around the same time. some other iphones in office are fine. below is a photo of 2 phones.

Thankfully, no. :P

Ask them to try a soft reset, if they haven't already.

Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons simultaneously for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo. You can let go of both buttons after the Apple logo appears.

Yes I faced the same issue today morning on my iphone 6. It was around 8 AM I think. I tried what libranof1987 has mentioned and it is working fine now.

I was at the Apple center a couple of days ago. There were at least 5 customers screaming around with a similar complaint. Looks like Apple needs to release a new software patch.

iOS 11 has been such a disaster. All Apple has been doing since 19-Sept is release patches.

Re: The iPhone Thread

Not sure if it is sheer luck but even after upgrading to iOS 11.1.2 I haven't faced any issues. The battery has remained the same (comes down to 85%/75% around 8PM with 100% charge at 9am with on/off mobile data, ringing alerts, texts and games). The performance has been commendable too. I just hope nothing goes wrong after this post.
