I have updated my A110 following the instructions from Droidiser. He has written a post on how to update using the official SP Flash tool as well as CWM (if rooted). Check out

http://www.droidiser.com/2013/06/upd...-sp-flash.html

This page also has the link for updating using CWM.

Please refer the links above. Beware of TP Update. It can wreck touchscreen if done incorrectly. Why dont you wait for 4.3 which should roll out very soon?

Sorry for a delayed response. consider my opinion only If you haven't bought your phone yet

You are comparing a 8MP cam with a 20MP one. I think, i need not answer this Q. If you often use your cam, go for the one with best cam. If you are like me, who doesn't remember when was the last photo taken, then your choice should be the Z ULTRA.

Team,

Whats your opinion on NOTE 3 ?

At 49.9K, I think it is very expensive. All plans have been spoiled and now I have to wait for the NEXUS 5

I feel that Samsung phones are good enough for the first one year or so. After which the phone generally becomes slow. I am using Note 1 and LG Nexus 4 and my friend is using S3. We both are facing the same problem. On the other hand, Nexus 4 is much stable even after an year with loads of applications. Wait for Nexus 5.

Too over priced. I would never buy a phone for that price.
Wait for 1.5 years, and the same phone will sell for 30k odd. Brands are just cashing in on the curiosity factor of a consumer to tap maximum profit during the initial life cycle of a product.

That's more due to Samsung bloatware more than anything else. I'm using Galaxy Note for close to 2 years. It's peppy even now. The only difference is that I've dumped the Samsung firmware long back. Right now, on cyanogen ROM nightly build - Android 4.3. Fast as any new android phone, I would say. I would love to keep this phone for atleast 1 or 2 years more.

Nexus is stable, because it's similar to cyanogen ( bloatware free )

Seriously, what extra will the additional 4cores do? Play musical chairs.

Get the Note2!

Once you got beyond 3-4 MP, does the MP matter any more?

When you are talking about independent digital cameras, the wisdom used to be that 3MP is good enough resolution for printing normal pictures. You need more than 5MP, only if you are going to print posters to stick on your home walls. If that is true in the phone camera world also - then if other specs are the same, then there should be no difference between a 8MP camera and 20MP one except for the resolution & the resolution shouldn't matter unless you are planning to print posters to stick on highway billboards.

Shouldn't the quality and size of the lens matter far more once you cross 4 or 5MP?

Hi mate thanks for responding

I'm comparing 13 megapixel with 8 megapixel camera (if you read carefully its z and ultra not z1 )

No haven't bought the phone; i'm still waiting for the valuable inputs....really confused

Now out of these two, which one should be considered ? (leaving the processor and the size)

I have been using Cynogenmod roms on my Defy however am a bit reluctant to flash it on my Note 2. Can you please provide me a feedback in terms of the battery life, bugs etc on Note 2.
