Re: The Maruti Vitara Brezza Compact SUV

Just finished watching the whole webcast, sadly nothing about the prices. Just wondering when will prices be revealed and when will deliveries start. Also there is no clarity about the dual tone variants and other details.

Someone, try to fill in more details.

Bookings will start earler.

Customization of VB is possible, dual tone colors offered, seems in the top variant.

Re: The Maruti Vitara Brezza Compact SUV

Prices will be revealed by end-February, and deliveries will commence from March onwards.

A look at the Brezza from all angles:

In all-Red shade (roof solid colour). Front looks aggressive and butch -

In Red/Black combo (roof & ORVMs in Black) -

Side profile reminds me of a mini Rover, and that's a good thing. Notice those massive wheel arches!

Re: The Maruti Vitara Brezza Compact SUV

My my, I am highly impressed!!!

The exterior looks amazing, full marks to the designers! The color choices are excellent and bring out the sporty nature of the product. Kudos to Maruti for plonking the 90hp motor. Black interiors are highly welcome but I am unsure about the quality though! I get a feeling that it will be priced on par with the Baleno if not more. Maruti is giving the choice to the customer to go the sporty way with the Vitara or go for the Baleno if he wants something sedate. I also feel the Baleno will get the 90hp motor eventually. Cannot wait for the official review!

All in all, as I've said before, this is an exciting product by Maruti after a slew of mediocre launches and I'd love to own this.

I absolutely love the design of it ,and the dual tone totally works for this car!. My only gripe is why not the petrol , why no automatic???

Somehow, I feel, the pictures do not clarify the scale: size of the car. I have a feeling that it would not be bigger than a Mini Cooper in size. Maybe an improved swift on steroids. The brochure on MS website is silent on the specifications and sizes

My best guess would be because the 1.2L petrol can't pull this thing effectively. Read a few pages back its approx around 1100kgs(No official confirmation yet though)? And incase the 1.4L is plonked the Sub 4m benefits will take a hit(limit being 1.2L for petrols).

In near future am hoping once the boosterjet is here it might be plonked into this one. As maruti is marketing this as a 'Sporty' car, the boosterjet at 110bhp would do great on this one

Never the less, it looks to have all the ingredients to become another BlockBuster product for Maruti. Hope they price it well. Notice, dual airbags is not standard only driver airbag is. Though I am glad passenger airbag is atleast optional

Re: The Maruti Vitara Brezza Compact SUV

My take on the rear:
- Center arm rest (pretty wide too)
- 1L bottle holders
- Rear AC vent (looks like) and a slight hump
- 60/40 split seat
- bench is not contoured
- bench can be lifted and seat back can be folded flat to give a huge rear storage area
- flexible rear headrest (thank god)
- doesn't seem to have soft hand rests on the door
- body color panel on the rear door. Looks cute

... and yes, this is NOT the review of the old JAZZ.

Close-up of the wheel arch. Makes the 215-sections look small!

A different alloy design on the Orange/Black Brezza. Maruti's version of the "diamond-cut"?!

Re: The Maruti Vitara Brezza Compact SUV

The Breeza is definitely gonna be a blockbuster for sure. Rest we need to see how it is priced and looking at the blunder Maruti did by pricing the Scross,I am sure they with tread cautiously. It definitely has all the bells and whistles. Any idea as to when the vehicles will reach the dealerships?

Re: The Maruti Vitara Brezza Compact SUV

Beautiful beautiful car IMO. The real deal-maker will be the price. Maruti ought to have learned their lesson with the S-Cross. I think this would be around the same price as the Baleno. Given that the car doesn't have rear Power-Windows but has an audio system, I would guess the base model would be ~7 lakhs and the top model would be ~10 lakhs.

Re: The Maruti Vitara Brezza Compact SUV

Can anyone explain the difference between this and the Ignis in terms of product and positioning?

Are they both similar dimension and type of car? Also, will the Brezza come with A/T at any point? If it does I hope its not AMT.
