For those who are curious, this is the difference in terms of frontal looks between the Tigor Geneva Edition and the Tigor "India" edition:

Pneumatic struts for the boot lid , saves space and aids better utilization. Will be one of the segment first feature, even C2 sedans don't have these.

Is the ICE unit any different from the Tiago? It doesn't seem so to me, but would like to know what others think.

The screen in Tigor is the touch screen model. It is slightly larger than the one in Tiago.

The button layout is same as Tiago, hence the similarity in terms of looks.

But, this one in Tigor is a Touchscreen Unit with Bigger Display. It also has SD card slot, which is for Maps I guess.

Also, it remains to be seen if the HU supports Climate Control Display as on Zest.

It has to, as there is no separate display for climate control!

Tigor is looking fantastic. Tata is really upping their game with every new launch starting from Tiago, Hexa, Tigor & Nexon in the near future. All the best to them!

What is the area between the two knobs for?

If not for climate control display, why did Tata leave a scratch/ fingerprint magnet in the middle of their console?

Are you sure? That space in between looks like the display for The ACC.

Would be to odd if the space is just empty and left to accumulate all the scratches.

If Zest is anything to go by, the ACC display will be in infotainment display. ACC controls on Tigor and Zest are very similar. They might even be shared between the two. Refer to this image from Zest official review: http://www.team-bhp.com/carpics/tata...ta-zest-08.jpg Caption: Blank area where you'd expect a climate control screen. A/C settings are shown on the infotainment screen

This is indeed a sore point in the Zest as well as Tigor.

re: Tata Tiago-based compact sedan. EDIT: Tigor launched at Rs 4.7 lakhs

Thanks RavenAvi for sharing the details.

1130Kg for the diesel is surely on the heavier side. That is a cool 50Kg gain from the Tiago. Performance will be compromised.

Strangely, the Petrol seems not to have gained any weight.

re: Tata Tiago-based compact sedan. EDIT: Tigor launched at Rs 4.7 lakhs

The weight would have increased due to the boot right? Would it affect the already ordinary performance of the petrol Tigor?

The Auto Climate Control panel is very similar to the one in Manza Club Class in which it came with a central display.
