According to Tim Leverton, the Nexon showcased is the production version.

Smashing looking interiors there. Exterior looks interesting too. A 1.5L diesel with 110bhp is excellent for character of this car. Quite happy with TaMo this time.

I am happy that TATA Motors did not go the Fiat engine route. Honestly, buying a new car with the fiat engine is like buying a new Andriod phone, few extra and new features but the same software.

Lets hope the engine is good. 110 bhp will be really potent.

Have look at the video preview by Autocar, they even got access to preview interior of the same.

Very very impressed with the Tata's effort. Kudos to the whole team behind Nexon.

Tried increasing the rear glass area and added a rear-mounted-spare, to tone down the rather aggressive looking rear.

If only they would do something to the color scheme. Too many colors on the car in its present state (Blue, white, grey, black)

Maybe Full black with those window lines in red would look cool.

Couple of noteworthy items on Nexon

1. Keyless entry. The start/stop button behind the steering wheel on the left side (Brezza has it on right side)
2. Different modes (City / Sport etc)
3. Can anyone let me know what's the below knob for? I really hope it's NOT for selecting the drive mode, but something else. :D

This is great styling for a production version. Interiors also look good. One thing that couldn't be confirmed is the rear AC vents - does it have them? At 110 PS diesel & petrol engines, great styling & interiors, this could well become the segment leader if priced appropriately. I get a sense that it will be at a significant premium to the Zest (which is on the same platform)

Nexon looks good but multiple colours on the rear look tacky for my tastes.

My guess is that this would be for controlling the screen....probably the different modes or moving the display on the screen.

There are two rotary knobs on the centre console (below the screen) which mostly will be to control the options on the screen. I doubt this big rotary knob will be used for it. Plus, I can see 3 symbols on the big one, which make me think, could be to select the mode. But then, on other products, they just use 2 switches for this and I can see an array of switches below the ACC knobs as well (similar to Bolt / Zest).

I know it's a wild thought, but an AWD might come as a serious USP for this car!

The symbols on the rotary knob besides the gearshift ever are graphic (as in terrain selection) not text (ECO/CITY/SPORT) as in a drive mode selector. has TML plonked in the AWD from the Aria here?
