| ![]() The way I see it, 2018 is too late for an India launch. The market is ripe for this facelift in India now. The S-cross is doing respectable numbers but not great. A lot of potential customers are put off by its current looks. This face lift brings with it much needed aggression. If MUL launches this soon, with a decent petrol and an Automatic variant for that stonking 1.6 diesel, they will easily double the current sales. |

What India can expect is the petrol variant in the 5 MT and 6 AT configuartion in early 2017.

BHPian ![]() | ![]() Is it just me and my eyes. Doesn't the front look a bit like the earlier bmw x1. The current S cross was basically the hatch back version of the sx4 Sold in Brazil. They fooled us by bringing in old models and just renaming them. The new version looks more beefier I feel. |

![]() Suzuki SX4/Fiat Sedici was designed by Fiat and manufactured by Suzuki. Suzuki had both hatch back and sedan versions. Suzuki replaced SX4 globally with SX4 S-Cross in 2013. We got the same S-Cross (without SX4 nameplate) after 2 years. Also FYI, there is no sedan version of current S-Cross. Which SX4 model are you talking about in Brazil? To be clear once again : Suzuki SX4(Sedan & Hatch) /Fiat Sedici /Maruti Suzuki SX4 : First generation Suzuki SX4 S-Cross / Maruti Suzuki S-Cross : 2nd generation Europe is getting is just a facelifted version now. It's not all new platform. Last edited by Dr.Naren : 26th August 2016 at 09:31.

Infractions: 0/2 (8) | ![]() By the time we get this face-lift in India in 2018, Europe would be getting reading with the 3rd generation SX4. Why can't Suzuki do a global launch for its "premium" product rather than dumping a 2-3 year old product into the Indian market? Last edited by searacer932 : 26th August 2016 at 10:34. |

There are 2 reasons I can think of: 1. Inventory of body kits 2. Launch of new full-sized Vitara (which might be cannibalized with facelifted S-Cross)

| ![]() Hi Everyone. Recently, a viewer from Croatia commented on my video review of the S-Cross and he shared some pictures of the Facelifted S-Cross which he was considering to buy. The Facelifted S Cross definitely looks much more aggressive compared to the older one and this red shade looks amazing on it. Enjoy the photos ![]() |

| ![]() Thanks to both of you for sharing the images. It indeed does look sharp in-the-face over the mild older version. What I want Maruti Suzuki to do is to get us the Alloy wheel that are on the face-lift version of the S-Cross. They look lovely compared to the wheel cap looking on that is on the current Indian model. Even though it is a simple design, looks much better and gives the car's profile a clean look. See the comparison image that I have put: ![]() If I buy the S-Cross then I will definitely try and get hold of these alloys for my car. |

| ![]() I saw many of the facelifted Scross in europe last week. Its most definitely a facelift that enhances the looks of the car. It adds a bit of the SUV character that is missing with the current Japanese style grill. Maruti should just bring this in asap. |
