I dont see any point in brining this generation next year to India when the next generation Vezel is out in 2020 globally.

| ![]() An article in HT Mint says Honda is planning to bring in the Vezel in 2019 Link - https://www.livemint.com/Auto/aH04XF...i-Creta-o.html As I understand it, the Vezel is built in Japan as compared to HR-V which is made in Thailand. I really like the Vezel/HR-V and hope Honda brings it to India, perhaps Honda can price it between the Creta and Compass? The HR-V could also be the reason that India gets the CR-V as a 7 seater. Pics of the HR-V from Thai Honda website. Last edited by Redline6800 : 17th August 2018 at 09:30. |

2. Honda HR-V . But seems like Honda is more bothered launching flop models like Mobilio , BR-V instead in our market.

| ![]() There have been some news lately in various websites that Honda is indeed considering getting the HRV in India. I feel that this is the right strategy for Honda as this car can give the Creta a run for it's money even if priced at a slight premium, provided Honda loads it up with all the goodies. With the CIvic and the CRV sharing the 1.6 diesel, it makes sense for Honda to get the HRV with the same engine. The Amaze based SUV should be competing with the likes of Ecosport, Brezza and lower variants of Creta. |

![]() The current generation was introduced in 2013. Too late to bring it to India next year when the next generation is already in place.

| ![]() Great decision by Honda to go for the HRV. I have driven the car extensively in SE Asia, and it's seriously good. Just hope it comes soon considering the eminent launch of Tata Harrier and non-stop success of Creta. |

| ![]() I don't think there is any decision by Honda to bring the HRV to India. Also, I am confused here - Honda just launched a facelift of HRV and the next generation is due in less than a year! This seems very strange. Obviously, I am hoping Honda will get this vehicle to India but so far, I have not heard or seen any piece of news which will raise my hopes. |

Distinguished - BHPian ![]() ![]() | ![]() The HR-V has been displayed to Honda dealership principals recently in New Delhi. It is expected to go into production very soon, with a launch most possibly scheduled for the festive season ahead. It will be equipped with a set of BS-VI compliant engines. Thanks to a reliable birdie for this bit of news. |

| ![]() That's a great news. I have few questions, is Honda launching Facelifted Version ? Or is this the All New Model ? Most likely it'll be the Facelift that went on sale in some markets earlier this year. Regarding Car, I guess it'll be more pricier then Creta and it'll most likely skip Diesel Automatic like on Civic. |

BHPian ![]() | ![]() Thats surprising news considering it was never announced by Honda earlier and no test mules have been spotted so far. Even if it is coming, doubt if it can be done before 2020 considering the preparatory work required but if the news is really true then its a very good news. 🤞🏼 Last edited by urajkumar : 25th April 2019 at 22:27. |
