Can you give me some more information on the insurance cover you opted for and the provider?

Deleted the chrome interior handles for all variants??? I thought it was just the V variant.

Smaller spare tyre and no trim/variant badges is sadly becoming the industry standard, so expected.

I've just booked a May manufactured ZX CVT and it has:
- full-size alloy wheels
- chrome handles (both inside and outside).

The only change that I noticed is the removal of the trim badge.

The audio is OKish but not great. I am considering upgrading the speakers.

Any recommendations on the speakers that fit into the existing slot and work with the stock music system?

03. Status quo with the Service Centre. They continue to say that the part has to come from Japan. ETA provided is 21st May 2022

This is a first for me. None of my previous cars waited in the workshop for such a long period. Didn't expect this from Honda, especially on the current-gen model that was purchased ~6 months back.
Just to close the loop on this one, my ordeal ended and I finally got the car back on Saturday, 21st May. So 3 weeks downtime in the workshop in all! Good news- the dashboard errors are gone, there are no jerks. Car runs smooth! Unexpected - The fuel level was depleted by almost half a tank and odometer reading has shifted by 30 kms. That doesn't add up! When questioned, was told that they had to keep the car turned on for doing all the scanning, troubleshooting etc. Was not convinced, but then it was too late and didn't really want to pick up another issue which might have resulted in further delay, investigation etc. I did highlight in my final email though.

Also got the Wurth anti-rodent spray applied all over the engine bay from an outlet in Powai. Here's hoping for better experience, going ahead.

Thanks all.

Upgraded to two pair of Blam 165es speakers ( both front and rear ). DD audio amp and dr artex sound damping in doors. The difference is night and day.

I have some questions for ZX Cvt.

1. Possible to turn off the engine without killing the music system and everything ( switch directly to accessory mode )

2. What is the function of the button on the gear level. Do I need to squeeze it on every shift ?

3. On traffic lights stay on D or switch to N ?

1. If the gear lever is not in P, then pressing start-stop button will put the car to accessory mode. Other option is to switch off the car, and then press start-stop button without pressing brake pedal.

2. Not on every shift. For example, you can move between D and N without pressing that. But switching to R, S etc will require pressing that button.

The Car Manual explains answers to both 1 and 2, so read that for more details.

3. There are different opinions to it. I don't shift to N unless I need to wait for more than 2 minutes on a traffic signal. There is a thread discussing this topic (Automatics : P or N at signals / traffic lights?).

Would always recommend stay on D at traffic lights.

Above suggestion will decrease lifetime of your brake pads significantly. It's not very fuel efficient either.

My bad, I was supposed to say always stay on Neutral at traffic lights.

Re: The 5th-gen Honda City in India. EDIT: Review on page 62

Is there any way we can stop the engine and get to accessory mode directly ?, Like if I want to stop for a while but want to keep the radio / music going ?
Pressing Start / Stop just directly switches off the entire thing.

I looked in the manual but couldn't find anything relevant. Any suggestions ?

Press start stop with the gear position in N, if you have the CVT
