It must be really embarassing for the people in charge to come up with a presentation for the media houses for what basically is a cosmetic job with some kit which is generally available at the dealership. Complete waste of time and energy.

And how much will they price it at? 14-15 lakhs on road?

Upgraded suspension and brakes sound juicy and certainly commands a premium over the regular models but the new i20 is quite overpriced already and doesn't give us any confidence with respect to safety.

The red accents are a turn off in every way personally.

Hope perfomance oriented cars succeed in a big way here.

Looks like iMT & DCT.

I am still thinking whats stopping Hyundai to offer that 1.0T-GDi & 6 Speed Manual combo which is already available with Venue . It could bring down the sticker price too.

Enthusiasts will definitely appreciate it and will stay more close to the whole idea of 'N-Line'

Ignoring the cosmetic changes, it now has rear discs, tweaked suspension and tweaked exhaust note as the only mechanical changes.

Wish they would do more and start a real hot hatch segment in India. With Hyundai's market position, they could actually sell properly upgraded hatchbacks at a premium (even if it is unjustified), and looking at their (potential) success other manufacturers would follow suit as well.

I think they could have played around a bit more with the colour options. They have basically only given a Blue/Red/Grey/White. The different shade of blue on the N-series in other markets looks stunning.

Normal i20 owners who are looking for better ride and handling can swap to the N line springs and struts/dampers. That is a plus!

So finally a semi-hot hatch from Hyundai and not just a sticker job. People already wanting to buy the i20 will go for this if they need a sportier version. The paddles are a good addition on top of the all round discs.

Good to see the paddle shifters. The OTR prices will be interesting, especially given the i20 is already overpriced. I definitely don't see as many of them on the roads as I used to.

I will probably test drive one of the iMT Kias or Hyndais at some point just to get the feeling of how they work. I wonder if any other brands are planning to bring them in.
