My Wifi likes -

Hatch - Nano (likes the Papaya orange soo much that she may bite one on the road

)
Sedan - Civic (even after telling her that its an outdated model globally)
SUV - RR Evoque (showed her once and was all drool over it

)

Civic and Vento are her favourites in the "attainable" range (for now!). We recently got a Civic, so she's happy.
Beyond that, she has a thing for the big European cars... doesn't care much which model/variant

My better-half hates hatchback (for no reasons)
She loves Honda City (NHC 2006 to 2008) that's one of the reason why I picked a NHC vtec (but sold it fortunately or unfortunately)
Now after getting Linea, she likes the Interiors alone (No idea why not the exterior)

My Better Half likes most of the SUV and She loves Skoda Superb both Exterior and Interior, Whenever we cross the Skoda Showroom we enter and have a nice feel of Superb for her desire.
Whenever we talk about cars, She proclaims her love towards Superb.

My better half likes the Nano (gifted me one 2012 model) and also Honda City. I guess women have a thing or 2 for Honda's! May be it all started with Kinetic Honda or Honda Activa :P

My wifey loves big SUVs! She would love the duster for sure, but we have just upgraded to a Rapid, so that's ruled out for now. May be when we decide to replace our Alto in another 2 years I hope we can buy some thing like the duster / eco sport!

Wifey's choice is on brands and not specific on cars. Her wishlist is Honda / VW / Toyota (any car, small or big - with any of these badges).

On the other hand, she always says a big NO to any of the the Tata vehicles as she beleives TATA cars are bought (& to be bought) only by the taxi folks

She likes the Honda CR-V AT most. She also loves the A Star AT.

SHe does not like indica or sumo because of the taxi thing. Surprisingly there is no issue with innova although there are a number of innova taxis.

I am not married yet (just in early twenties

) but IMO girls prefer cars with good looks. Few girls in my college bought Swift over Ritz just because it looks better without knowing that their dad got poorer by additional 60-70K! Same is the case when they chose boyfriends

On a serious note even the elderly women in my family prefers cars based only on the looks - they are least bothered about mileage, engine performance and other blaha blah we generally talk about cars.
