ss80 TOOL KIT

today happened to come across an original SS80 factory tool kit bag.
It is blue in colour and the OE supplier name/logo (GEODORE)is also there in the plastic bag .Part NO:9800M 32076.individual tools also have embossed part no and GEODORE markings.
ss80 guys here, hope you all start looking whether you have it in your car .
an item which is minor in appearance and hence mostly overlooked but what makes the difference when a car becomes a ''classic".
just see the prices of vintage beetle/mercedes tool kits in ebay....

Infractions: 0/2 (8)

GEDORE Tools.
Used to be standard issue in all "protected economy era" cars - Amby, Fiat and of course M800, Gypsy, M Van etc.
Also WOLF Tools - used to be available in GP Road in Madras
All these were "Drop Forged" for higher strength. Good stuff. If you've got a set, hang on to them as they are solid.

My SS80

Here are some pictures of my SS80. i'm extremely sorry for the low quality photos, they were taken at night using my mobile fone.
Anyways this car has been with us for the past 24years. I have very fond memories of this car.
Was used on a daily basis and has clocked over 3.8 lakh km, and only for the past four years it is getting the much needed rest.
The whole car painted about 6 yrs ago when it suffered a frontal crash, though luckily the engine was not damaged.
Now the paint is not that great, its faded generally and chipping and cracking at places. There's also rust. I am planning to restore it, but it may have to wait until the start of next year as I have some other things to sort out.

Well, I know how much pain Praveen has been through during his car's mini restoration few years back.

He wants the garage guys to do something, but something else is being done

End of the day, the car came out on tops, And with that color, all Praveen can say is
