I second that. For a 1.5L Honda, it is a pathetic drive.

The mighty Swift to me. Got a chance to occupy the back seat on a drive from Bangalore to Ambur. Hardly a 2 to 3 Hours on the drive. Got me a bad back ache :(

It was a Tata Sierra which I drove some years back. The NVH levels of a truck were better I guess when compared to this truck.

i recently drove a friend's petrol dzire which was horribly non responsive! of course the premier padminis will always rule the roost in my book as the worst, but the dzire is catching up soon (what an irony!)

What about the steering? Did you like it?

For me... The Mahindra Classic... (The sexy convertible 4X4)

Had convinced the family into getting one because I simply loved all things about the vehicle...

I test drove it ... and I fell out of love with it.

Unfortunately, it was too rustic for me, or in other words, i was not tough enough for it.

This might turn some heads, but Ive driven cars across categories & for the money, Corolla is sold, its complete crap!
I rather like to drive a M800, which I do many times with Corolla warming eggs in my garage! Need less to say it fails to bring em to life!

Worst cars i ve driven

1. Tata Indica - hmm DLS feels like a ferry boat and skate board like handling
2. Tata Estate -
3. Maruti Omni - It bounces like a ping-pong ball
4. Hyundai Accent 1.5 GLS- Steering feel is too disconnected and poor gear ratios

Maybe it does qualify as one of the worst cars to drive but I have never come across another car that is easier to drive.

My worst drive till now : a Bolero with a naturally aspirated diesel engine equipped with power steering. I never got the measure of the steering throughout the drive of 20 odd kilometres.

The worst ride has to be the trip to Tawang at the back seat of a Tata Spacio, after which the bodies of the passengers rather than the vehicle needed servicing.

1) Maruti Omni - This thing is dangerous!!
2) Mercury Grand Marquis - May be because of the size of the car.

I agree that maitz was a bit underpowered, more with the AC ofcourse . I had one for quite a few years but never had the embarrassement of telling someone to get off so that car can climb a slope... i can't believe it.We took to it some real hill station drives with full loads and it did it duty everytime.

Indica Turbo DLS - With that humongous steering wheel and a noisy engine, it feels like I'm driving a truck whenever I drive it. But something makes me still love that car, may be the space that it offers.

Mauri A-Star
Pathetic visibility, buzzy motor, vibrations on steering wheel and gear knob due to 3 cylinder engine... not deserving of 4 lac price tag at all.

I can totally understand where you are coming from. The evening of the day that I took delivery of my Classic, I was driving to Juhu to pick my girl up. While driving on the WE highway, the SWB led to continuous vertical movement, the steering was hard, clutch travel long and I could barely fit into the drivers seat. The brand new gearbox was so hard that it gave my hand (small) blisters. Plus, it was slow, noisy and vibrated as hell. I remember waiting at a red light just before the domestic airport and saying to myself "How on earth am I going to live with this Jeep? Dad was probably right when he told me I'll get rid of it in 6 months".

The rest, as they say, is history. 13 years of ownership and counting . It's a Jeep thing.
