No, that was at Vittal Mallya Rd during morning peak hour 9:30AM - may be because of that.

According to the Shell Website(Shell in India - Shell Station Locator), they had a station in Trichy which was closed in May 2008, due to rise in petrol prices among other things. Now that prices have been falling IMHO, there is a fair chance that it might be reopened

Just basic question folks.
Is shell petrol still governed by petrolium ministry? because oil price fell down from $140 to $56 per barrel and not much change in private retailers like SHell and Reliance?

Shell 'super' is now 57.95, this is cheaper than BP 'speed' available in Chennai, which is about 59 rs/lt. I think Shell has to advertise more to get its lost customers.

Heard the Advt on FM this morning and also scale model Ferrari for Rs. 100; Need to get back to Shell once again.

yeah even attendant was telling me something about the scaled models but i was in little hurry so didn't check it out ......

They are having only Ferrari models which contained 5-6 cars in a pack. Not sure whether each is Rs. 100, however the cars are very small.

It is not governed by the ministry. Well, the price is directly related to crude price, but will not in the same ratio because refining, distribution and marketing costs would not have dropped.

I am seeing this Shell outlet on work since 4 months or so in Coimbatore ,near Attupaalam ,Ukkadam.Still it isnt opened.anyother stations for SHELL in kovai?

Shell is good for petrol, but cannot match the prices of the local oil companies as far as diesel is concerned, the reason being, Shell does not get any government subsidy in diesel like other companies. Hence Petorl heads rejoice.

By the way thanks guys for pointing me towards the correct shell petrol pump in NaviMumbai.

hey, need help from people in bangalore.
I heard there is a shell pump in brookefields. How far is it from Cosmos mall?

It is around a km or so from Cosmos Mall. Just keep going straight towards Mahadevpura, you will find it on the left side.

There is another one near Kundanahally Gate, take a left turn at the Kundalahally gate while coming from Cosmos mall, you will find it on the left side after some 500 m or so
