I meant diesel, that's why I even said 'until it's banned'. But I typed petrol. Butter fingers.

Re: Highest reading on the odometer!

I drive a 2015 Fiat Punto Evo "Emotion" with a 1.3 MJD powerplant.

I just came back from a drive to Gujarat for Navratri, and my car just clocked 1,76,400 kilometres last night.

Super happy with the drive quality of the car, and so far my car has been driven in 21 states and 4 UTs of this glorious country - as I like to tell my service centre staff, "ye gadi ne ghat-ghat ka diesel piya hai" 😁

I'm going to drive this guy till the wheels fall off (hopefully not for another 5 years).

Highest reading on the odometer!-cbz.jpg

Hope I can post mine. Mine is two wheels less. Took 9 Years to complete, bottom half of the engine including engine bore, piston is original. Running 4th Set of tyres.

Only the top part is replaced after the engine oil got burnt mysteriously. Bike was okay till 1,00,000. Post 1,00,000 niggling problem crop up like fuse blowing up, sheared wires (plastic covering the wires). Water seeped into speedometer console through the adjust button and the adjust button came off. only the odometer and RPM meter working as of now. Fuel gauge conked off after a fuse blew due to a torn wire below the battery.

The jewel in the bike is the Honda engineered engine. Pity, honda engineering does not reflect in their marketing strategry / service / availabiity of spares for India market despite having good bikes.

Looking for a replacement, but no 150 cc bike with ground floor pillon friendly seat except the Bullet family which is out of my budget and cannot downgrade to 125 cc bike due to my hefty weight of 98 kgs and my better half at 104 kgs. The hunt for a replacement bike continues...

Re: Highest reading on the odometer!

Found this on reddit(Europe sub) sometime back:
Highest reading on the odometer!-skoda_rapid_taxi.jpeg

It seems credible, as everyone in that thread mentioned that its quite possible in Europe. Also, by looking at rpm meter, I'm guessing that it might be a diesel car.

First gen Amaze CNG uber.
The driver has had it since new and it's only had oil changes done. Was in great nick, no rattles or squeaks either.
The driver said that if this was a maruti or Hyundai the car would be in the done by now but the Honda is like new. He did complain of the pricy parts compared to Maruti but ig it's well worth it, this was in much better health than most 1L marutis or Hyundais I sit in.

Sir, did you tried the recent Kawasaki W175? Could be an option you are searching for!

Yes, I liked the bike despite its basic looks, but no rear disc brake, ABS and the 1960 instrument console!

Yes the rear doesn't have disc but I think it has single channel abs. Instrument console is bare basic. But as a bike with proper pillion ergonomics I think there is no other except this for that price range. When I say ergonomics it is not just the single seat but also elevation and posture that the pillion rider will get into.

Happy to come back again to this thread to share another milestone:
Highest reading on the odometer!-img_20240505_090921.jpg

This time the honour went to Samruddhi Highway and it took my beloved Ritz VDI exactly 10 years and 7 months.
Highest reading on the odometer!-img_20240502_105708.jpg

During last 2 years period, my Ritz saw multiple trips like Pune - Akola - Pune, Akola - Nagpur - Akola, Pune - Hyderabad - Pune, Pune - Hampi - Badami - Pune etc. All drives were absolutely trouble free, never broke a sweat.

PS:- The odometer image is taken by my wife safely while I was driving. Another image is when my car was resting at my parents place during this last trip

Re: Highest reading on the odometer!

Hello Everyone,

To begin with, I wanted to post this when it had crossed 2 lac kms but thought it might be a bit early so why not flex it more, yes it’s a good 3 lac kms on the ODO now, why so, because this is my primary vehicle and most of the time I prefer to drive this beauty than fly anywhere,

Highest reading on the odometer!-img_7076.jpg

Highest reading on the odometer!-img_6311-1.jpg

Make : Dec 2016,
Rapid TDI DSG 1.5,
Tuning:
Stage 1 ECU Stage 2 TCU Remap
Approx figures: 145Hp/320Nm, (tuned post the clutch change)

Repairs done till now :
• Multiclutch & Flywheel, once, at 1.8 lac kms,
• Radiator Fan, primarily due to wear and tear,
• Basic suspension bushes, not changed the struts yet,
• Day I bought the car, upsized to Yokohama S drive 205/55/15, running on 4th set currently, (lovely slicks)
• Mileage: 17km/l odd in the city, on the highway max I got was 28km/l with sane driving, ( this is post remap as well)

Apart from this, haven’t changed any, injectors, sensors (none of them), mechatronix, etc…

The car never turned me down on long hauls, just basic code issues for which the obvious limp mode but those were corrected,

It’s a beauty on the highways especially expressway ( yes I’ve paid multiple challans, but now I’ve tamed it & myself so never had any of its selfies lately )

I’ve been reading people complaining about quality of parts, mechanicals, electronics but trust me, this one never troubled me,

Re: Highest reading on the odometer!

So, after 14 years, the big boy has finally crossed the 1L mark.

1. Starts and runs like a dream, never let me down
2. Stock engine
3. Clutch overhaul at 75k
4. Suspension overhaul at 90k

Highest reading on the odometer!-whatsapp-image-20240627-4.53.23-pm.jpeg

Hopefully, it will remain with me for another few years munching more miles.

Re: Highest reading on the odometer!

Recently completed 460000 km on my 2009 2.4 V D4D Innova. Reliability of Toyota made me buy a Hilux for my father. Hope to cover 1000000km

That is some insane reading when are you posting an ownership report on this?
4,60000 km over 15 years which equals around 30,000 km annually, congrats on utilising the Innova to its full potential.
What kind of FE are you getting now?
