I agree with KP here. Let us stick to topic of the 1.4 litre Vista. Only time will tell whether we get any ABS/Airbags in the diesel too. waiting for TATA.

Hey, nice find there!
I hope the version in India gets a similar instrument panel quality like the one in the pics. Steering mounted audio controls too, now that they seem to include it in the Manza.

Tata!

They should give the ignis the latest vista 1st aniversary limited eddition treatment - It would set it a class appart, with leather seats and leather dash.

Guys

any of you have an idea if waiting till ignis launch is worthy.
The ABS/airbag is an interesting option to have, but since I have stretched my time a little too long waiting for ignis launch, and seeing the tata's showing no indications if it is really testing (given my situation). At the same time I don't want to disappointed seeing Ignis lauch just days after I buy it..
So it all depends on the time.

Anyone has any insider info when this car si going to be launched and whether there are going to be other facelift can pls post it here, as this info is very important for my decision making.

thanks in advance.

Maybe the ignis sighted here in this thread is for export market?
And not really for India ... besides, there were no rumours about any impending launch too.

Vista Ignis is for export markets only (specifically S.Africa). Got this confirmed from a salesman at Concorde Motors, Dairy Circle. Hugely disappointing :(
Why would Mr.Tata not want to give this beauty to us Indians first?

I would not give too much credibility to a salesman at concorde on such stuff.

I suggest all waiting for the ignis wait till Jan Auto Show latest and if it's not out by then or actually in this Dec when it is most expected then go ahead and buy the best/ closest alternative. (actually the manza)

Guys, I found this brochure containing the Ignis details on the Vista's South African website.

I hope Tata launches this in India, soon.

Looks nice. Interesting that the same engine has is tuned differently for different variants, from the specs the lower end variants will probably be easier to drive in the city as they have similar torque at lower RPMS.

Anyways, this is the South African brochure, when is it launching in India?
