Awesome channel - just subscribed to the Cosmo pack over the weekend and now am glued to 221 whenever I am watching TV.

I dont think Airtel and other DTHs have woken up to this channels potential. Looks like another 2 months.

I was frantically searching for this channel on my STB today and wifey comes around asking "Any breaking news?". And to my answer she says - you spent all the time reading the forum and now you want a channel ?

. Called up my service provider and asked him about "Discovery Turbo" as I could not find it in my EPG and he says we will get it in few weeks. The wait is on until the channel comes alive

I just hope they price it reasonably whenever they launch it. Or else it will be difficult to convince my father to subscribe for this channel.

It is a great development for people with their heads on wheel. I am sure it is going to make BHPians a lazy bumps on weekend with turbo running in full throttle. As electric heart worries, wifeys will not love watching cars on TV till their last hair falls...will have a tough time in that way. Am sure this channel will kill all the other local automobile shows.

Too bad! Turbo is a part of cosmo pack and have to shell out Rs 45pm extra for this channel.

but i guess still its value pack and give a big dose of entertainment for all motorholics!

I have been hooked on to the channel from the time it was launched. Spent half my weekend on it watching "Chop Shop". Bernie and Leepu are a lot of fun. I wonder how their fabrication would impact the car performance but they do a good job in making cars. Lots of good shows up there, I simply love the channel. When I broke the news of this channel to my wife, she was sad that now I will not let out the remote any more. Cheers to the channel, its a boon for all automobile enthusiasts!

at present it is only available to tata sky subscribers but telecasting on other providers is in pipeline and may take another 2 months or so.

it is an english international channels and all shows in english but they are incorporating regional stuff too!

If Discovery Turbo in the UK is anything to go by, they will occassionaly have specials when they will show all the episodes of Chop Shop or A 4x4 is born etc etc back to back.
