Re: Your Next Car?

As of now, my next car would be Ford Ecosport or Honda Amaze.

I am eagerly waiting for Honda Jazz.

Re: Your Next Car?

Next car is most likely to be either a Duster 85hp or Sunny/Scala. I would really like Ecosport to drill some sense in Renault's head so they price the Duster more sensibly. Looking to replace my 2011 Fabia Diesel once the monsoon is over.

My next car will be the polo highline. I was initially concerned about the service costs of volkswagen but finally made up my mind as service intervals are quite higher.

Re: Your Next Car?

Civic is a wonderful car, a true blue sedan from Honda's stable. New civic and new jazz might be before us by next year

Re: Your Next Car?

My next new car purchase is probably 4-5 years away, so there is really no concrete plan on what to buy. However, I think it will be fun coming back to this thread after I buy my next car and see how my preferences changed over time.

I prefer the compact dimensions of hatchbacks. However, most of them compromise on either backseat space or boot space. So I wish in 4-5 years time, I will have some slightly bigger hatchbacks to choose from. I don't mind paying extra for that, so maybe a 4.2m hatch, instead of <4m?

I would like to keep the budget under 15L OTR, which will probably rule out all cars in C-segment and above in 5 years time anyway.

And it has to be an automatic.

Re: Your Next Car?

I like to change my ride every 18-24 months. So by that logic, I plan to buy a new car in the next 12 months.

Am really sad by my experience with the Civic's ground clearance (awesome in every other aspect), also I have never had a SUV. So my next car will be an SUV for sure.

Will wait for the duster to enter the used car market, am expecting the Duster resale prices to be moderate (not as good as Maruti or as bad as Fiat). Will sell my Civic to a Team-Bhpian only!!

Re: Your Next Car?

My next car will most probably be a Polo tsi with a few mods. Need a small car, which I don't have to worry about parking, etc. The Accord is now too large to use as a daily driver.

Re: Your Next Car?

My next car will be the Linea TJet+
I have come to experience the preciseness of the steering the Figo has, so the TJet is the natural progression for me in this regard (more power, better ride quality, same thrill and feedback from the steering)

Re: Your Next Car?

Mine is a done deal. Booked the 2013 Linea T-Jet sometime ago and expecting delivery very shortly. Feeling great that fiat decided to bring this one back and consequently one has had the opportunity to own this one.

Re: Your Next Car?

No immediate purchases since the civic still has a year or 2 in it.
Once she goes it would ideally be any of the following -
Cooper S/ Abarth (if it comes with a Dualogic)/ A1 / 1 series with a remote possibility of a Golf TDi or an Alfa Romeo Guiletta IF ATALL they make it here by then.

All S model Minis are still CBUs. I found a good deal on a pre-owned one, though you can get a 2012 car (unregistered) for around 31 ex showroom.
