8k seems to be a good value, but surprised the dealer is selling it at a lower than good kbb value.

Awesome stuff. I missed out badly in negotiation and I knew it was kind of low but I wasn't sure of doing it since it was my first offer. I must learn it for sure, should be useful for the upcoming offers, hope I pull it off and get a nice set of wheels.

Thank you all for the suggestions.

Get it checked outside. You should be able to find places that'll do a decent inspection.

If the dealer doesn't allow it, walk away!

Copied and pasted. Keep in mind that the OP has an SRT charger.

Dodge has made more than a muscle car that can go fast in a straight line. They’ve made a family hauler, drag car with suspension and brakes to hold its own at the track.

Damn you are fully booked! Let us know how the track day went. I am not sure If i should push my car to the limits of a track day. I will definitely do it one day though.

The Motorcycle course would be good. Most of my friends joined that course to get the mere license. I was planning to get one as well, but NH is tedious with no online method and via postal is just too painful.

I found one more place which does the same but charges double, though they have online reservation ( Modern technology as compared to primitive NH DMV )

I think this place has bigger bikes too. But yeah, the NH DMV is still in the dinosaur era.

Come on man. Bimmers belong on the track.

Re: Buying, Owning, Driving and Maintaining a car in North America

Planning to drive from San Jose, CA to Dallas, TX during July this year. It would be a 10 day drive with me & my dad.

Can you guys suggest some good route and interesting places to visit in CA/NV/AZ/UT/CO/NM/TX?

Thanks!

I'm not sure what places will be good to go in terms of weather - most of TX, NM, AZ and NV would be super burning hot in July - 100F would be easily the high on most days and driving in searing heat would be tiresome. So maybe you should chart a course driving through the Rockies or so. Did you already have any destinations in mind?

Do you want to complete a round trip in 10 days?
If you want to drive by Utah(out of the way though), check out Zion, Bryce, Moab, Antelope, Lake Powell, Grand Canyon.

Its going to be hot like REAL HOT .

Re: Buying, Owning, Driving and Maintaining a car in North America

After hunting for a pre-owned car for 2 weeks, got a 2006 Nissan Altima 3.5 SL V6. It has 90,000 miles on the odo. The car is well maintained by the previous owner. Did an extensive TD last evening and was satisfied in all aspects. Had come across some good examples of Camry but the dealers were quoting high and were not open for any kind of negotiation. Also had checked some Accords but were heavily rusted. So went ahead and bought this car. Got it for $4.8K. Will use this car for atleast an year and will think whether to retain or change.

Some pics of the car:
