Lets not make this issue more confusing than it already is. There's a hearing on the 22nd i guess. I feel we should wait till they clear it out.

Looks like Force India finally managed to get into Q2 (thanks to Kimi and Hamilton) and they have their best qualifying result so far (12th), ahead of Coulthard and even Barrichello and Piquet.

Fisichella managed to do it for Force India F1, I thought Adrian Sutil had done it as I was having soft corner and high hopes on him

Well done boy, well done!! Who would have imagined this outcome? Even a chasing Mclaren on a drying track didn't get close.

A future superstar is born. Even the podium presentation had a familiar German/Italian rhythm to it...

What a drive by Vettel. Absolutely outstanding.

And the podium consisted of all first time winners this season: Vettel, Kovaleinen and Kubica. Looks like that's the future of Formula One.

Was pretty sad for Fisichella, him crashing into the back of DC and then retiring eventually, and another fantastic drive by Hamilton, although he did slow down in the last few laps.

Overall, McLaren are now just 5 points behind Ferrari in the constructor standings.

German Driver, Italian Car.

German Anthem followed by Italian at the Podium.

Sounds familiar. Looks familiar. What is Ferrari waiting for?

Boy what a drive
And once again German - Italian combo on the top spot after Chinese GP 2006.
Winning from a unheralded team(First win after 387 starts).
Michael fans can rejoice as today we have seen a real worthy successor?
What makes this special is this victory was not achieved from a top notch team and every bit of his driving skill coming to his aid.
Wowww.Guess he will head to another Italian team in 2011
@Steer:Just beat me to it :-)

I so wanted Vettel to win this one. Never really paid attention to him before, but after yesterday's qualifying, i really wanted him to be on the podium. He really deserved this win.

A fantastic win for Vettel. For many his Pole position was like a 'fluke' or being at the right place at the right time but his win was not any of the above. He drove and he won it.

Ferrari had a poor day today. Many years back, in rain conditions a Ferrari was the strongest car ofcourse with the rain master at the wheel. They never thought twice to change the car to wet weather setup if there was a possibility of rain. But suddenly they have lost it. When it rains its worse than damage limitation for Ferrari.

I think Hamilton should be penalized for dangerous driving on-track in these conditions. Trigger happy stewards where art thou?

And in Press Conference, it was nice of Vettel to have a shot at Hamilton rubbish statement 'of having something'
Vettel said that we had the 'something' to win. lol

His move on Mark Webber today was dangerous and should be scrutinized. Last week's chicane move was cheeky or cunning, which is barely on the line - this one would've been dangerous if there was no run-off area. He clearly pushed to the left.

Extremely happy for Saby Vettel and MINARDI. Always wanted to see a Minardi win. They have done it albeit under a different name.
Massa did what he has being doing so well all season - kept his cool and raced and got the best out of the Ferrari even though it was wet most of the time. Hamilton was superb and had it rained again, he would surely have been on the podium. With Kov. finishing second, McLaren have taken many points off Ferrari's lead in the WCC.
If Vettel continues this way, Ferrari will possibly wonder why they signed Kimi on for two more years.

Great win for Vettel!
He had the race in control, Kovalainen in a McLaren couldn't even keep up with him.
Surprisingly there weren't any safety car situations, inspite of being a completely wet race.
Also interesting fact is that Kubica is just 14 behind Hamilton. Who knows, couple of more races like this and he will be within a striking distance
Lewis Hamilton 78
Felipe Massa 77
Robert Kubica 64
Kimi Räikkönen 57
