Correction. They're airing FP2 on friday evening & FP3 on saturday followed by qualifying as usual. Will have to check the time. I had already posted this in one my earlier posts in this thread. This was announced on Chequered Flag after the Monza GP.

Is this a special arrangement for this race alone or a permanent feature from now on?

Come onnnn... You really don't believe that don't you ? Surely, one must rate F1 greats like Jackie Stewart, Nigel Mansell, Stirling Moss, Jim Clark, Graham Hill, John Surtees, or Mike Hawthorn better drivers than Damon ?

I'm no fan of the WonderKid myself (yet), but Lewis is way ahead of Damon (even in his best years). Damon was a very clinical driver, while Lewis is decisive, aggressive, & dare I say it - almost cruel out on the track.

Driving on a wet track in a 600 Kg, carbon-fiber, RWD, 750 BHP car with no traction control must be difficult in itself, but to run circles around the rest of the field while having more fuel on board just speaks of raw talent...

Lewis & the MP4-23 make an awesome combination in the wet & as a Ferrari fan, I just pray that the remaining races are dry !

Ferrari fan or McLaren fan, I hope that all F1 fans pray for a dry race. If it rains, it would literally be a nightmare for the drivers & in all probability, I think that the race might be called off. The spray & the reflection of the lights in the wet patches of the race track would literally make it impossible to drive a race car in the wet. I hope all of you agree with me.

Ok folks. the word is out. McLaren's appeal on LH's spa overtaking maneuver has been thrown out by the FIA as expected. It' been deemed inadmissible. I wonder why they had the hearing.

They prob realised this part of the FIA regulations after the hearing, what a bunch of noobs.

“Penalties of driving through or stopping in pit lanes together with certain penalties specified in FIA Championship regulations where this is expressly stated, are not susceptible to appeal.”
