The Qualifying was just too good, only 1 second seperates top 8 qualifyers. This wil be a close race again between Alonso and Schumi. Its a shame that home hero Jenson qualified 19th.

Nice qualifying results, Fonsi Kimi and Michael on top 3!!! And both Ferrari's sharing the second row...And atleast Kimi's car better hold up wtih his pace, or its just gonna be another DNF for him.

Damn gotta watch the qualifying...missed it today!

This season is going to be Blue/Yellow vs. Red. Renault vs. Ferrari. Spanish flair vs. Germany precision, Alonso vs. Schumi. Don't bother about the rest.

Excuse me but this thread was for the 2005 canadian GP.we can definately have another one for the 2006 Canadian GP.

Would probably be another race between MS, FA and KR. And since its a fairly fast track, McLaren might have probs keeping up with the pace of the Ferrari's and the Renault's.

Should be fun hopefully, and would love to see the start of MS vs FA shaping up nicely. Afterall, the championship would have to go to either onne of them.

If McLaren can manage to keep their car reliable, they'll on the podium with Kimi Raikkonen. But the odds really favour an Alonso victory.
I won't be surprised if Webber or Fisichella come out as the dark horse.

The way Alonso has dominated the season, I'm betting it's gonna be another win for him unless Kimi & MCLaren get their act together. Overall, it's a nice fast track, so should be fun to watch.
