Would like to correct you on that front, that Catalunya was not Alonso's first pole for the season.
How could i forget that amazing Nurburgring race.

McLaren-Mercedes better watch out. They are really losing it out there. Time is running out. I would atleast expect them to come second if they start doing well from now on. If I was Kimi, I'd switch to a different team next season if things don't get better.

Race Prediction - Monaco

The most exciting race of the season IMO. Just awesome to watch those cars zip thru the narrow lanes of Monte Carlo. And those daring overtaking moves, which are near impossible..

Both MS and FA would be running on older engines, so reliability would be important. Still like the other races, guess the top teams would be Ferrari and Renault. McLaren still struggling with reliability and bad luck...But think Kimi won the race last year, so just maybe he could pull out sumtin if his car helds up.

Also MS was quoted saying he hopes to equal Senna's record of 6GP wins at Monaco and also that strategy would be the key. Also qualifying could make the whole difference as its a lot more easier if ur on pole, cuz gettin past other cars ain't an easy thing to do.

Yep overtaking here is near impossible so qualifying at pole is gonna be the main thing. The monaco circut is fairly twisty and this is were the renaults flex their muscle. i dont think kimi's car is the podium meterial, its just too slow. i'd go for

1. Alonso
2. Schmuck
3. Fischella/button

Don't flame me....but seriously, Kimi doesn't look that strong as he used to. Qualifying times and all arn't that big either. He's getting close, but not ON the podium. Maybe its just his car....

I somehow don't enjoy any form of racing that does not provide adequate on road overtaking opportunities. Which is why I enjoy this GP the least.

I'd vote for Fisi ..
Kimi, could make it to the podium, if they get the strategy right .. since the Mclaren's seemingly lower speed will get offset by the fact that the quicker cars would not be able to overtake him .. at least on the road.

Hey Karthik, there's no doubting Kimi.... like you have said.... its surely his car... for some reason its surely not performing like the Ferrari and the Renault.... hopefully they'll get it right this time... HOPEFULLY....

Most boring. What overtaking? F1 has forgotten what that means - they should send those jokers to drive on the streets of India.

I hoping for a win by Schumi and a 3rd or 4th for Alonso.

Isn't it Monaco where Dr. Mallya has a flat overlooking the track?

Overtaking is possible, but u need the courage to pull out moves on this very tight track. Only easier way to out-brake others seems to be at the chicane..

Can expect a lot of retirements too...and one major curve to watch out for would be where Button and a few other guys as well crashed out last year..
