that was a good qualifying session for the renault's with both of them seperated by .06 of a second.

MS also looks promising.I bet he is carying more fuel than renault's.

McLaren disappointed. Wish they gain places. Stupid Renaults. They always come first. Let Schumi win this too or Kimi.

Both Ferrari's on the second row, Alonso better watch his back cuz they are quick. Massa is doin so well for Ferrari, just amazing. Who would have expected so much from him keeping pace with the master himself!

Schumi will have to perhaps pass fisichella in thr first turn itself, orelse we can surely see a red car being slowed down, and alonso pulling away. GO SCHUMI.

At this pace McLaren is not going to go anywhere this year. Juan Pablo is some one i think is bad to have in a team. He doesnt play anything accoridng to what the team wants. Most of the times creates some scene and is out of the race. See Felippe Massa what a good result for him. He is right behind Michael most of the times in pole and in race. Same with Fisichella. McLaren has a driver that doesnt fit in the team.

Congrats Alonso.

But I will like to see him lose. It is Renault that is working out the magic. Puts him in pole and he keeps the lead. Wherever he doesnt get pole he doesnt win always!

Cheers to Schumi. Good luck to Raikonnen. Better he shift his team to renault or ferrari. Raikkonnen on a renault will be awesome. He will win 80% of the races.

Great race for Fernando, he did very well to win before his home crowd. His lap times were damn good and very consistant each and every lap. This championship is getting hotter. Can't wait for the next race.

Its not just the Renault doing any magic, then why isn't Fisi able to win races with similar car? And remember he wasn't in pole position in any of the races before and only this race he was on pole.

He was in pole in Nurburgring which was just the last race before Catalunya if my memory serves right. It was Alonso on pole and Schumacher was 2nd place on the starting grid. What happened later was Schumacher beat Alonso in the race.

Would like to correct you on that front, that Catalunya was not Alonso's first pole for the season.

Alonso is a much better driver than Fisi(period). So you can't compare the two of them. And Fisi not being able to catch up with Alonso was due to problems in the setup of Fisi's car according to Fisi's post race press conference(www.formula1.com)

And Schumacher admitted that his ferrari was much slower than even the struggling Fisi, leave alone Alonso. So yup, Renault had the better car, better tires and the better setup for Catalunya. So Renualt deserved what they got and we can appreciate them for the effort. Time to look forward to the next race.

That was a good race by FA.He sealed the race in the 1st part of the race. There was someting very wrong with the ferrari's,maybe they set up the car for different type of race conditions.

But i was shocked that the safety car was not called when JPM's car was stuck on the kerb.nowadays they call saftey cars out even when someone has gone off in a distant corner.

Wasn't able to watch the whole race, hope there is a replay soon enough.
But didn't the commentators say that the Bridgestone teams were struggling in those conditons while the Michelins' were able to perform much better..?
