Flavio and his pack of jockers have been decimated. What a stunning 3 laps by MS when FA was in the pits.

Absolutely splendid performance by Ferrari and yes they are well and truely back. That should silence quite a few people.

I still can't understand how he made up the 7second lead when he was 1second behind Alonso!! 'Michael Magic'??

BY setting fastest laps of the race during that period.on one of the laps he was 1.5 seconds faster than FA and yes he also stopped 2.1 seconds shorter in the second stop than FA.

Brilliant strategy by ferrari. Schumi was aiming to take the lead right after the first pit stop, but didn't work out. AT the second pit stop Schumi had a comfortable lead to Alonso and everyone knew at that point that schumi was going to win the race. Schumi had put 3 consecutive fast laps after Alsono had pitted, so he did it when it counted the most Good drive by Massa as well, I thought, may be Kimi might overtake him in the last few laps but he held there. As for Button, its too bad for him. He was in a strong position but again his car let him down.

The reason was sheer talent of the legend that Michael Schumacher is. Its a known fact that Renault has a slight advantage over the Ferrari in terms of overall package this year. But then it was a combination of the greatness of Michael that is soo widely reckoned as "Michael Magic" and the team spirit and guile of the Scuderia Ferrari that managed to beat FA and Renault against all odds in a cracker of a race .

As Flavio Bratoire(hope i spelt it right) would put it. BRAVO, BRAVO, bra..bra..bravo SCHUMMI!!!!!!!

damn i was jumping and clapping even though i was watching the race all alone when the ferrari came out of their second pit stop, hair raising stuff those laps were.
Flag me but i just loved that loser face alonso had on the podium.
As for massa, brilliant drive by him, he'll surely get smoother through the season.
Nico rosberg shone once again, loved the way he tried to pull off a quickie on
the last turn, like the commentators said - Star in the making.

Michael magic....

He has this capability to put up the fastest lap timings when its needed the most n especially just before his pit stops he goes crazy makes up so much so much time...Also the Ferrari crew did a great job in his final stop...

As if the Renault is invincible. One DNF for Alonso and the tables will turn and surely he will have some failure at some point of time.Everyone one will have one or more as history suggests.

A brilliant race weekend for Ferrari. They are back on tops and the red team is definately back in the reckoning for the championship. Schumi placed himself excellently behind Alonso closing and then slowing down. The blistering laps during the second round of stops nailed it in. Todays race shows that the Ferrari is at pace with the Renualts now and the Bridgestones are working well.

It would have been double delight if Massa would have overtaken Alonso

Feels good to hear the German and Italian anthem again

And all those who said Imola was just a one off can shut up !!!

Exactly! Same thing could happen to Shoemaker. So why get carried away??

Ha, strange that you quietly sneaked out from that thread and are making those unprooven and imaginary accusations here.

Michael Schumacher: FORMER world champion
Fernando Alonso: CURRENT world champion

Hope its not too hard on you tax your memory a little bit.
